After changing into more cooler clothes for the heat of Dorne, your ship was docking. You looked into the mirror one last time before sighing softly and walking up to the deck. The guards nodded at you as you walked by and you saw two princes standing, waiting for your arrival with a few women around them.

The men look dashing in their own ways. One was tall and slim with short brown hair and milky brown eyes. He wore long yellow robes and seemed more relaxed than the other. Though you saw the rage he hid behind those eyes. You've heard about their sister Elia and what happened with your brother and The Mountain. You gulped down fear as you slowly walk down towards them. The other brother was slightly shorter but stood proper. He had long hair and looked more aged than the other one but still had soft tanned skin. He looks more serious and has rings decorating his fingers.

Your eyes flicker between the men as your guards stood closely by your side, their hands resting on the hilt of their swords.

"Welcome to Dorne," The older looking brother says, stepping forward and bringing your hand to his lips to press a kiss to it.

"It looks, amazing,"

"Just like yourself," He responds making you blush slightly. "I am Prince Doran and here is my brother-"

"Oberyn Martell," He interrupted, taking your hand and pressing a small kiss to it. He held your gaze for a while before stepping back in line.

"It's nice to meet you both, I am (Y/N) Targaryen, first of my name," You smile and they return the same gesture. Two Dornish guards approach you and switch places with your original men. You look back at them sadly, not wanting them to go. "Jaime, wait," You say, running back to the youngest member of the Kingsguard your father sent with you to protect you.

"Yes?" He stops and gently pulls you to the side while the other guards offload the ship.

"Can you stay with me?" He laughs and shook his head.

"I can't, your father would want me back at Kingslanding," You sigh sadly and send a glance at the brothers behind you. "Here," He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a necklace with a dragon head pendant hanging from it. It was silver and worn. "This was your brothers, keep this with you,"

"Thank you, Ser," He nods before walking back on to the ship. You put on the necklace and walk away from Jaime, one of your best friends. You fake a smile and return to Doran and Oberyn. To be honest, you were slightly disappointed to be promised to Doran, you found Oberyn more attractive but looks aren't everything.

"Lady (Y/N), this is Scarlett, she will be your personal maid," Doran announces. A young, stout yet short lady approaches you with a large smile and gleaming eyes.

"It's an honour to be in your service, ma'am," You smile and nod at her as the boat leaves Dorne. She wore a light blue dress that flowed out at the bottom and she wore a dark blue tunic over her chest that made her look only slightly slimmer.

"We will meet again at dinner tonight, but I have business to attend to," Doran says before walking away, various of people following him. Three other women approach you, saying they were your maids as well but Scarlett was your personal maid. You nod, feeling slightly overwhelmed by how fast everything is going.

"I am Sphfax, I will be your personal guard," A new voice says to your side. You crane your head to see a well-built dark-skinned man approach you with a charming smile. He was bald but wore more expensive armour with a long red cloak. "I will keep you and Scarlett safe. Unless requested otherwise, where ever you are, I will be," You nod again and you felt as if your head was going to fall off from how much nodding you were doing.

"How about we give the Little Dragon some space?" A thick accent says. You see Oberyn Martell hasn't left with his brother. "Perhaps she's overwhelmed by everything, you three can go a take her stuff to her room," Oberyn orders three maids who nod and begin to grab your belongings. "You two can help," He says to the guards behind you. Once they left it was just you, Sphfax, Scarlett and Oberyn.

"Thank you, but I think I need to take a minute completely alone," They all nod and walk away. Sphfax doesn't go far but far enough for you to be alone.

You sit down on the docks and take a big breath. You're so overwhelmed at the moment and you don't feel accepted. Doran has already rushed off to do a job and the only person who seems to be happy to be around you is Scarlett though you're sure it must be fake. You're first dragon to step into the snake's den after Rhagar and Elia. You look over and see the ship has turned into a black smudge in the distance. You stand up and walk over to where Sphfax is waiting and you see Oberyn and Scarlett talking in hushed tones.

"What are they talking about?"

"I don't know, my lady," Sphfax responds, his hand hovering by the handle of his sword. You nod and Scarlett comes rushing over when seeing you walk with Sphfax.

"Now, let's get you to your chambers, we need you to get changed into clothes for dinner!"

"Is...this not good enough?" You motion to your flowy black skirts and red corset wrapped around your torso. She tuts at you and shakes her head.

"My dear, these are Targaryen colours, you're in Dorne! You must wear Martell colours," Sphfax laughs from behind you at your confused expression.

"If this makes you feel better, you look stunning in that dress," He admits.

"Of course she looks amazing, she is a princess! But she needs to wear Martell clothes!" Scarlett grabs your hand and leads you through the marble flooring and towards your chambers as you sigh heavily, still overwhelmed.
