Chapter Seven: Doom and Gloom...!

I could feel the tears burning my cheeks and streaming down my face like a large waterfall. These last couple months of my life have been a treacherous nightmare, a whirlwind and almost a lie. I threw myself under the duvet and wept some more. All I wanted to do was cry and be alone and I didn't want anyone to see me in this state of sorrow and pain. There were so many words I wanted to scream in his face right now but even if I did, just looking at his face would cause only the most deepest of pain. Not surprisingly the door opened again as I sighed heavily.

''I don't wish anyone to see me at this present time, if you could leave me be I would be most appreciative.''

But they didn't respond instead they walked towards me and sat on thy bed. I yanked the covers over my head to speak to them when I noticed it wasn't Oberyn. It was Ellaria. I could she that she noticed I had been crying as she handed me a handkerchief. I wiped away the remaining tears with the back of my hand. Ellaria reached for my hands but I pulled away.

''Don't be scared, I wont harm you," This was very reasssuring to say the least. ''I'm Ellaria of-''.

''I know who you are Oberyn has mentioned you many times. I don't want to sound rude but I need some space can we have the chat later instead?'' I asked.

Without further hesitation she left the room. I decided to sit on my balcony to gain some fresh air into my lungs. The singing of the birds calmed me down, the late summer's breeze, brushing my soft cheeks. I decide to call Scarlett up to get her to prepare a bath before dinner was ready. Sphax came strolling into the room just before Scarlett did.

''(Y/N), how are you feeling, I'm so sorry about Doran and that you found out that way...''

''I've felt better but I'm trying not to let it affect me, I'm just about to have a bath before dinner, which reminds me you and Scarlett should join us, I would like it if you came,'' I said.

''If you request, then I shall accept, what about you Scarlett?'' Syphax turned to Scarlett who was preoccupied with preparing your bath.

''If you want me to go then I'll glady join you all,'' Scarlett exclaimed. '' Also (Y/N), would you like me to add some oil and minerals to your bath?''

''I don't see why not. I shall see you all at dinner,''

With a nod Scarlett and Syphax left me to bathe in peace.

I stepped into the bath, the hot water burning my skin. I put my head into the water and my long locks of hair surrounded me. I then looked up and I could see the image of a blurred figure stood above the bath. I decided to take a look and so I sat up and there he was... the Red Viper himself... stood there dumbstruck. I immidialtely froze. This was not the first time it had happend.

''Well.. well.. well.. it seems this is not the first time I have walked in on you...''

''Indeed, it's fine I'll just get back into the bath, I was just about to get out but I may have to stay a little longer,'' I said.

''No it's fine, would you like some assistance, there little dragon?'' Oberyn asked.

I nodded, my cheeks turning bright red. I slowly stepped out of the bath, but I could feel my back leg slipping as I lost grip, tumbling but Oberyn caught me in his arms making my blush even more.

"My...my are you ok little dragon?'' He kissed me on the forhead before grabbing my towel and carrying me onto my bed. He then handed me the dress that was layed out ready and waiting for me. I did it up as I walked over to my dressing table to brush my hair.

''Wait let me,'' He took the brush and started brushing my. It felt so soothing and soft. He then reached in his pocket and brung out a small box.

''I had this specially made as a gift for you, I would love if you would do me the hounours of wearing it for me tonight hmm?'' I nodded.

He then moved my hair over my shoulders and carefully placed the necklace around my neck doing it up on the back. He smiled warmly kissed me on the forehead once more.

''It looks beautiful on you my dragon,''

'''Thank you,'' I said blushing more than ever.

''It seems dinner is served shall we?'' He took my hand and locked it into his as we made our way down to the dinning room.

I decided to let him know that I had invited Sphax and Scarlett to dinner. ''I hope you don't mind but I invited Sphax and Scarlett to dinner with us I hope you won't mind,''

He turned to me and I was met with his cute warm smile again. ''It's fine by me, little dragon, it shall be nice to have them joining us,''

It wasn't long before I was tucking into some roasted chicken and new potatoes. It all tasted so rich and devine. We laughed a little, Sphax mocking the assasins who tried to kill me. By the time we had all finished what was on our plates I had five full goblets of wine. Ellaria, pulled me to the side to continue our discussion.

''Look, after what happened I don't want to keep brining it up but what exactly occurred?'' Ellaria asked.

As I gulped down my sixth goblet I said ''I'm not sure it all happend so quickly until I found out that Doran cheated on me.. umm,'' I could feel tears gathering in my eyes and pouring down my cheeks. The realisation had hit. Suddenly it became all to real that it had happend.

''I'm so sorry please don't cry (Y/N)!'' Ellaria grabbed her hankercheif and handed it to me, allowing me to wipe away the tears. ''You go back and join the others I'm going to get some sleep, goodnight''.

As she walked off I strolled back in to the dinning room I found Oberyn by himself. ''I'm guessing the others went to bed?''

''Yes they did, why are your eyes red, have you been crying again, my dragon, has Ellaria upset you?'' He poured some red wine into my gobelt and guestured me to drink it.

''No, nothing happend, just ignore me, now where were we?''

''Mm, Ah yes a toast to your survival!'' Oberyn said proudly.

We gulped a couple more drinks down and by 11pm, we were completely drunk.

''Come...my dragon.. its way past...our... bedtime,'' He scooped me up suddenly in his arms making me laugh.

Eventually we made it to my bedroom door as we both drunkly opened the door and stumbled into the room. I immidiatley flopped on the bed laughing gleefully. I wiggled up to the top of the bed and climbed beneath the covers, wrapping myself up. Oberyn starts to walk towards the door and turns to face me.

"Good-...ni-..." Oberyn starts to tumble forward and he hits his head on the dorr before falling to the floor.

I rushed uo to him in schock and horror. I checked tonsee if his head was bleeding but luckily the fall was halterd by the door. As best as i could i peiced myself together to go and get Ellaria and others.

(*3rd person with Sphax, Scarlett and Ellaria*).

Ellaria was gatherthing all the dirty dishes together off the tabke and giving it to Sphax and Scarlett to finish off. just then they heard (Y/N) come running into the room. She was quite obviously quite drunk. She fell to her knees. They all went running over to her, assisting her. They carried her up the stairs before turning towards (Y/N's) room and they notice, Oberyn's drunk self. flopped in the doorway.

''That's why (Y/N) came downstairs. To tell us but she was too drunk. Would you to mind putting (Y/N) to bed and ill put Oberyn to bed." Ellaria said

Sphax and Scarltt nodded as they quietley carried you to your bed. "Sleepwell (Y/N)." Sphax said gently beofre quietly closing the door behind him.
