turning around Ara inspected every single person and everything that each person was doing as if that would reveal the person who was after her. Everyone looked careless as they continued to dance and converse with one another happily as if nothing was amiss.

"your majesty I suggest we get you out of here before it is too late." the advisor suggested lightly taking hold of her elbow and putting another hand on her back.

"I'm so sorry Jung Jungkook but something came up and I must leave but thank you for tonight." Ara thanked him bowing as he did the same and a maid suddenly grabbed her hand, pulling her away. The two casually weaved through the crowd of people in and out through them all before they crashed into a couple conversing with each other away from the crowd.

"I'm so so sorry." the maid bowed as she apologized profusely letting go of Ara while doing so.

"Look out where you're going, maid who do you think you are." the girl angrily spat out before getting closer to the guy standing next to her who was actually prince Taehyung. Surprised that he'd be talking to someone such as her, Ara apologized before making eye contact with Taehyung and sensing something was wrong. His eyes moved as if they were pointing at the girl who was literally throwing herself at him. Glancing at her then back at Taehyung a few times, Ara got the message finally that he wanted out and didn't want to be around her any longer. Clearing her throat, Ara opened her mouth and as she did so she got a dirty look from the girl who she had never seen before. Of course she was a blonde and she looked to be a princess but Ara couldn't pinpoint what kingdom she could be from. Continuing what she was about to do she was hit with dizziness out of nowhere but shrugged it off before speaking again.

"Excuse me your majesty I need to talk with you about something in private." Ara's lying seemed to do the trick because the girl's eyes seemed to be convinced, she let go of Taehyung's arm before scoffing and left before the maid left the two alone.

"Thank you so much princess, I do apologize if I caused you any trouble." he apologized taking her hand and put it gently through his arm. The two started walking before Ara was hit with another wave of dizzy ness causing her to stop walking and earning a confused look from Taehyung.

"are you okay princess?" he asked in a soft tone taking his free hand and put it on her shoulder.

"I'm sorry I'm sure it's just nothing." she shrugged it off regaining vision of the world around her.

"are you sure you look very tired." he asked again kneeling down to her level.

"I-I can't see very well to be perfectly honest." she finally admitted earning a concerned look from Taehyung, or well it looked like one.

"Let's take you to your room I don't think it is safe for you to be here." he insisted in a soft tone standing up normally and gently took her hand and lead her slowly through the crowd making sure no one ran into her or she didn't run into anyone.

They finally reached the hallway and Taehyung had no idea where to go. Ara's eyesight had improved a little bit and she informed him where to go. The more they continued on on their way to her room the more Taehyung's personality changed. What once used to be a very kind person was a very quiet person with a tone of voice that seemed like he would explode in a matter of seconds. Afraid to make any noises, Ara stayed silent and didn't speak unless she could tell Taehyung was lost. Taehyung noticed she was scared of him by the way she'd walk hesitantly behind him.

"Are you okay your majesty ?" He asked sweetly as they stood in front of her bedroom door.

"y-yes I'm okay just a little tired." she answered but Taehyung could tell she was a little off because she couldn't focus on one thing.

"let's get you in your room quickly." he snapped back to reality once he realized the situation and opened her door leading her gently into the room and quietly closed the door behind them. As soon as he closed the door Ara collapsed on the floor letting go of his hand as she fell. The thump caused Taehyungs heart to stop for a second.

Taehyung gently picked her up putting one arm under her legs while putting the other behind her back. He then walked her over to her bed and gently set her down making sure she was comfortable before standing up fixing his suit and he was about to leave when he heard a loud noise. The noise seemed to be coming from all the way the hallway where they just came from sending a slight wave of fear through his body. The sounds continued and Ara stirred sending a little bit more fear through Taehyungs body. She stopped making movements as he sighed in relief and rushed over to the door and locked it before looking around to notice his surroundings. The noises continued getting closer and closer as if the person making them were purposely making them to send a signal that they were coming. The noises seemed to be outside of the room causing his breathing to hitch, waiting for something to happen.

Ara then awoke to the sun piercing through the blinds and noticed she was still in the same dress as last night. Looking around she noticed that there was no one. There was usually a maid waiting for her to wake up and ready to scold her for always waking up late. Then Ara noticed that the castle seemed quieter than normal.

"hello ?" she called out once she got changed and walked down the hallway. There was still no sounds to be heard no matter where she looked. She then saw the ballroom where the event was held the previous night and her heart stopped. There was blood everywhere, everywhere on the floor as if there was a massive murder after she had left the event in a hurry. She was about to take a step in the room when she heard a blood piercing scream coming from down the hallway. Jumping slightly from the sound she put her hand on her heart to calm herself down. The scream happened again but this time it wasn't as loud but it helped pin point where it was coming from. Walking quickly away from the room, she tried to keep her footsteps as quiet as possible. Her braid bounced back and forth as she continued to run down the teal wall covered hallways with gold trim. The hallway had the scent of vanilla and blood for some reason and the smell of blood got stronger as she made her way down the hall. She found the person who was making the sound and realized it was a maid who was screaming as she was on the floor against the wall with blood covering half of her body.

"what happened?" Ara rushed over bending down checking the condition that the maid was in.

"A-A-A group o-o-f a-assas-sins came l-lo-ooking f-for y-you, w-when t-t-hey d-did-didn't f-find y-you t-t-they k-killed most o-o-f t-the p-p-eople" she stuttered together, it didn't look like she had any wounds but she could be wounded internally.

"wait what about my parents what happened to them." Ara begged trying to get the answer out of her before something happened and prevented her from doing so.

"I-I don-don't k-know t-t-they mig-might b-be i-i-n the safe h-hou-se s-some-somewhere." she stuttered again as she coughed and looked at her hands as they were covered in blood and her face went pale.
