a few days had passed and it was soon the day of the event. Ara had dreaded this day more than anyone who was attending. She hated being forced to be interested in someone who had no interest in her but only for her money.

"your majesty it is time for you to get ready, we wouldn't want you to be late." one maid approached her holding the dress she had picked out a few days prior. Deciding it wasn't a good idea to not obey and cause more problems than what she already wanted to cause she nodded and stood up ready for the process. A few maids approached her starting to undress her and started to put the dress on as carefully as they could. Their cold hands were all over causing Ara to slightly shiver but she was used to it due to this event happening more times than it should in years past. Soon, she was all ready and they all bowed a farewell as they walked out of her room leaving her alone.

"you can come in now." Ara smirked looking towards the window into the pitch black night.

"aish i thought i was going to die holding on for that long." a voice complained before jumping through the window and landed perfectly.

"oh don't be so dramatic, it wasn't that long." Ara laughed lightly before walking over to the figure removing their hood.

"it surely felt that long my princess." the figure smiled before bowing. His features made him stunning but in this light they became even more apparent. His hair was slightly messed up from the hood and he had a drop of sweat falling from his forehead and onto his eyebrow. His smile complemented his dark brown eyes making them even brighter than before. He had a dimple every time he smiled and altogether his features were drop dead amazing.

"I missed you my princess."

"I told you don't have to call me that."

"Oh but I feel like I must especially around someone of such power." he smiled his million dollar smile enticing Ara even more.

"We both come from pretty similar families must I keep reminding you pabo." Ara sighed smiling slightly before being engulfed in a hug by him.

"But you're my princess whether you believe it or not, even that title doesn't suit your part in this kingdom or even in this world."

"You're going to make one of those mushy lines aren't you." Ara lightly teased earning a laugh from the both of them.

"I'm being serious." he whispered in her ear sending chills up her spine.

"I'm sorry our meet couldn't have been longer." Ara apologized hugging him tighter this time.

"It's okay, I understand that you have your duties and I have mine. I also apologize that I couldn't have been here earlier than anticipated." he apologized profusely.

Ara was going to continue talking but a loud knock interrupted them both and immediately they separated and Ara shoved him in her closet and ran to the door only to see it was another maid.

"you must come quickly, there's business for you to attend to." the maid quickly explained before taking Ara's hand and pulled her out of her room and down the hallway and through the courtyard. On their way through the courtyard Ara's eye caught on a few boxes of white flowers. In the dim lighting, they seemed so beautiful and full of happiness.

"There's no time to waste, let's go." the maid rushed in a hushed tone. Ara promised that she'd return and look at the flowers enjoying their beauty. Being rushed through the doors, all conversation was suddenly stopped when Ara arrived. They all bowed as she made her way cautiously to her seat.
