"let her leave."
"but we haven't finished our business yet."
"let.her.leave."
"you're free to leave but don't ruin your dress we have the dance in a few hours."
Ara bowed before walking out briefly and through the courtyard spotting a figure bent over the boxes of flower she had previously spotted.
"what are you doing." Ara spooked the figure causing it to stand up in fear before sighing in relief.
"why are you out here?! you could be spotted and you could get yourself killed !" Ara whisper yelled at the figure immediately recognizing who it was.
"I was trying to find you and came across these flowers." he explained before hearing some noises causing him to run and grabbed Ara's hand before running back to her room. Slamming the door, they panted and laughed together before Ara realized she was still wearing the dress she absolutely could not ruin. She checked and saw nothing wrong and it still shined in the moonlight coming through the window making the room seem really peaceful and quiet something Ara longed for.
"that was really close." he whispered as he continued to pant earning a slap to the arm from Ara.
"you could have gotten us in serious trouble." Ara scolded straight faced earning a slight smirk from him before pulling her closer causing more shivers to go up her spine.
"i'm sorry my princess." he quietly apologized before softly kissing her.
...
"I wish I was the lucky man to dance with you tonight."
"you're lucky you don't have to be forced to like someone only to grant your parents wishes and wanting to kick you out of the house as fast as possible." Ara vented sighing before she was engulfed in another hug.
"you're lucky that you aren't being forced to go study abroad for who knows how long."
"y-your leaving?" hearing that sentence made Ara's stomach drop.
"I was given this news today my princess, trust me if I had the choice I'd stay here with you."
"where are you going ?" Ara asked trying to hold back any tears that threatened to spill.
"I haven't been informed of where I'm being sent but I assume it's because I've been sneaking out with you recently to go to the castle."
"So this is my fault." Ara whispered.
"no, my princess it isn't your fault. Nothing is ever your fault, don't blame yourself for what my parents think is best for me." he smiled before kissing her on the forehead.
"How is this better for you, me not seeing you every day is worse enough." Ara asked in a broken tone hugging him tighter than before.
"I know this is hard for you but trust me I will return to you. I've heard my parents talk and they said it should at least be a month that I'm gone." he explained trying to reassure her but failed.
"I'm going to miss you." Ara whispered trying not to cry.
"Don't cry my princess, it's not worth your tears to cry over me. Before you know it I'll be back and it'll seem like I haven't even left." he stroked his thumb on her chin gently staring into her eyes hurt. "I love you forever and don't forget about me."
"never, I promise I will wait for you." Ara hugged him one more time before realizing she was about to be late for the dance.
"I'll wait here, go have fun without me." he whispered kissing her one last time before twirling her one more time and watching her leave.
