I woke up the next morning exhausted. I could barely sleep because of strange noises coming from down the hall and trains going past which shook the whole building. It also didn't help that I had nightmares of the horrific 'event' that took place the night before, I thought that extracting the memory would make it less vivid in my mind. Oh, how I was so wrong. I looked over at the old clock on the dark worn nightstand, "oh shit it's nearly ten!" I scrambled out of bed and through on my clothes which I had on yesterday as I had no time to pick a new outfit and pack my old one away. I collected my heavy bags and Pandora in her cage and hurried out the slanted door.

As I got downstairs, I saw Tom cleaning the bar so I headed over to him to hand my room key over. "ah miss y/l/n sleep well?" he asked in a polite manner, "erm... Yes, I did, thank you for asking" I lied, trying not to hurt his feelings and handing over the key, "where's the nearest underground entrance?" I asked hastily. "if you head left out the door then turn right on the first road you come across you should see a sign around three buildings down" he explained, "thank you!" I said as I lugged my bags out the door.

I got on the train and sat in a busy carriage; people were giving me a lot of peculiar looks as I'm guessing they are not used to seeing a caged owl on the tube. Luckily for me the ride didn't last too long and I got off at King's Cross station and headed towards platform nine and ten with a trolly that had my bags and Pandora on.

I remembered my mother telling me about her first time trying to find platform nine and three quarters, she said it was straight in the middle of platforms nine and ten but didn't tell me where abouts the entrance was, which is the most important part.

As I was walking down the platform, I heard a girl mention something about the quidditch world cup that recently took place over the summer and I knew I had to follow them. I had heard of the terrible occurrence that had happened at the world cup, who would have thought that at a high security event that death eaters would even go never mind attacking it. I caught up to where I had heard the girl speak and saw two tall boys run through the wall one after the other and two other boys stood with a girl in front of the wall that the two boys disappeared into. This must be the entrance to the platform I thought to myself.

I shyly approached the trio and cleared my throat, "excuse me how do you do that?" I trailed off looking from them to the wall. "oh, it's easy. You just run straight in the middle of the wall and go through!" the tall ginger boy said with a giggle, "you seem quite old for a first year." the brown eyed girl questioned with a raised brow. "oh yeah, I've just transferred to Hogwarts for my fourth year" I gave her an enthusiastic smile in which she returned as the boy in the circular glasses stated "we're in fourth year too".

We went through the wall to the platform and was met by a large red steam train with a black chimney on the front of it. The three teens walked over to a large pile of luggage and placed their bags next to the rest of the other students' luggage and I headed over to put my bags there also.

As I turned round to catch up with the trio, I bumped into someone making the both of us fall to the ground, I quickly found my feet and held out my hand to the blonde boy I had knocked over, "oh my god, I'm so sorry, let me help you up!" I gasped, "I don't need your help!" he spat and stood up. This time I could actually get a look of the rather rude boy stood towering over me. His cold grey eyes shot daggers at me and his brows furrowed as his nostrils flared in anger. His naturally rose-pink lips formed a thin line as they stood out on his pale complexion. "I've never seen you before." he said as his expression relaxed and raised an eyebrow. "oh. Erm, I've just transferred to Hogwarts this year" I said hesitantly and with that he turned and left. I rolled my eyes and got on the old steam train to look for the trio with Pandoras cage in my hand and to my realisation I didn't even know the trios names.
