Chapter 8

Gage's POV

As soon as I saw Snake I saw red, but as soon as I started for him Buster and Hawk grabbed onto me. All I could see when I looked at him was Cass scared in his arms while he rubbed his disgusting hands all over her and ground himself into my woman. Yea, I said my woman. She was mine but I had to convince her of that. Hopefully she can accept me for me. She's sensitive and I think something must have happened to her with a man before but I'll get her to open up to me eventually. The way she reacted with the DR's touching her she seemed like a terrified broken girl but I know she is strong I can see it in her eyes, there is a fierceness to her. Sure she's more like a fierce pussy cat instead of a ferocious lion, but the strength and determination is there.

I was breathing heavily. "Let me go. He deserves what he gets after he touched Cass that way." I gritted out.

Hawk leaned in and whispered to me, "I know brother, but we need answers before we can make him pay. Just bide your time and you will get your chance." I took in a deep breath at that and looked to Hawk and gave him a stiff nod letting him know he could let me go.

Blade hadn't moved from the corner he was routed in during this entire exchange. He was always accessing the situation. He was a scary motherfucker but he definitely knew how to get answers.

"Alright Snake what does your President have planned for the girls?" Hawk asked.

"I'm not telling you shit," Snake said and then he proceeded to spit on the ground. Hawk gave a nod to Blade.

Blade came up and punched the guy several times in the face and then switched to his ribs. I heard a couple of cracks as Blade continued to hammer away.

"Enough," Ordered Hawk. Blade immediately stopped and went right back to his place in the corner. "Let's try that again. What does your President have planned for those girls." This time Snake only glared at Hawk. Hawk gave Blade another nod. Blade took out his knife and proceeded to cut off Snake's left pinky and ring finger.

"Enough," Ordered Hawk again and Blade went right back to his corner. "Now I want you to think about it this time a little longer before you answer because the next thing Blade will be cutting off will be a little lower. What does your president want with those girls?" Hawk emphasized his last sentence slowly.

"He knows you have something going on with the fat one and that your VP has something for the little one." Snake rasped out you could tell the broken ribs were taking their toll on him. Hawk immediately punched him. Buster and I grabbed him and pulled him back before he could hit him again.

"You do not speak about Ember that way." Hawk gritted out. Damn I knew he liked her but didn't realize he was already a goner like me.

I caught something though, "How does your president know those girls mean something special to us."

Snake smiled at that, "Prez has someone from inside your club that's feeding him information. They reached out to him. It would seems not everyone in your club is as taken with those girls as you are."

"Who?" Hawk asked.

"Don't know, Prez wouldn't tell any of us. Only he knows." Damn it! Butch is smart sometimes I'll give him that. "He was going to get you to give us the girls and then let each of us have a turn with them while we recorded it to send back to you so as to fuck with you. Make you weak before we attacked you." This time the person that leapt forward shocked us.

Blade came at Snake faster than we could blink. He had his hands wrapped around Snake's throat choking him. Snake's face was turning purple. "Your club will not lay a finger on those girls." Blade seethed out his face filled with rage.

"Enough," Hawk called out. Instead of responding immediately like he normally did Blade waited a few beats first before shaking his head and letting go of Snake. Snake was gasping for air. These guys are some sick fucks. I have to make sure they do not get ahold of Cass.

"Did he have a plan on how he was going to grab them?" Buster asked. He seemed to be the only one in the room not completely livid. Though he always was one who was always happy, he wasn't very happy right now though.

"Not that I know of, he said he was going to wait for his informant to give him information on when a good time to nab them would be." Snake told us. Seems his usefulness had worn out.

Hawk turned to me. "He touched Cass. Do you want to finish him?"

I looked at Snake and once again saw what he did to Cass and how terrified she was. I took my gun out, aimed at his head, and shot. I then turned and walked out of the door. I needed to get back to Cass. I needed to hold her to know she was safe. I made my way back upstairs to my bedroom. I slowly opened the door and then closed it as quietly as possible. When I turned around my breath caught in my throat. There she was looking like an Angel with her halo of blonde hair fanning over the pillows. I couldn't help the smile that made its way onto my face. Yea, I'm going to have to figure out how to get her to stay. I kicked off my boots and took my shirt off. I carefully climbed in, took her into my arms and kissed the top of her head. "I promise I'm going to keep you safe my Angel." Still sleeping she snuggled into me more. I breathed out a deep breath and slowly allowed sleep to take me.
