Chapter 18

Hawk's POV

We were riding up to the Devil Runner's clubhouse and I noticed their gate was ajar. Buster dismounted his bike and pushed it open. I rode in first and the place looked abandoned. I cursed under my breath.

"Alright brothers, be vigilant. We're still going to check the place out." Everyone dismounted and pulled their guns out. I sent Buster around back with a group of men. Blade made his way to the front door and looked to me, I nodded to him and he kicked open the door. We all ran in and there was no one around.

The place looked disgusting but also deserted like no one had been there in days. Damn it! Buster's group came from the back of the building. "Buster take your group upstairs and search it, Blade take our group down to the basement and check it out." I knew they wouldn't find anything but I need to be sure.

I heard my phone ding. It was a text from Gage.

Gage: No one's here. What now Prez?

"Fuck!" I exclaimed in frustration. I don't know what to do where else would they take her. I stared pacing the floor running my hands through my hair trying to think.

Buster and Blade came back with their groups. "Sorry Prez we didn't find anything." Buster reported sounded dejected. I looked to Blade who shook his head. They've had my Little Flame for several hours now I'm sure she will be waking up soon. We were running out of time.

My phone started ringing and I saw it was Key. Thank Fuck!

Answering my phone I said "Go."

"Sorry it took me so long Prez. They did a surprisingly good job scrambling some things thinking that it would keep me away but I'm better and was finally able to decrypt it. I got a location. They're at an abandoned house about 20 minutes outside of town." Key quickly informed me sounding relieved.

I let out a deep breath. Finally some good news, "Thanks brother. Text Gage and me the location and let him know to meet us there." I didn't wait for his reply before I hung up my phone.

I went to inform every one of the new plan but before I could open my mouth everyone's phones went off again. We all froze for a couple of beats. Whatever was on our phones was not going to be good. We each pulled out our phones and I saw it was another video. Were we too late? Was she already dead?

I hit play on the video. Ember was chained to the wall by her wrists and Butch was walking towards her. "Now Sweetheart, this can go as easily for you as it can hard all depending on how nice you want to be to us." He grabbed ahold of her face and made her look at him. "We want to put on a good show for Hawk now don't we? Although I'm sure he's already forgotten all about you by now and moved on to one of his clubwhores. We can show you a good time though sweetheart." Oh no I haven't, you son of a bitch. He ran his nose along the side of her face and we heard him groan out, "God you smell so good." Then Ember bit him on the ear. That's my girl! Butch let out a scream and punched her in the face. I growled at that and so did several of my men. "Alright you little bitch I knew you'd like it rough but it looks like we're going to have to give you a couple of little lessons before we give you your pleasure." Butch then turned to the camera and put on a huge smile, "Watch closely Hawk. This is how you keep your women in line." He walked back towards Ember and snapped her wrist. Ember let out a scream. Several of my brothers hissed at that. "You see that Hawk? I think she likes it I bet she gets off on the pain." Butch said looking back at the camera again. "Alright boys teach her a lesson." Butch backed away from her while two other men walked up and began hitting, punching, and kicking Ember. Eventually she passed out. The beating went on for a few more minutes after that until Butch finally stopped them. Each hit felt like a knife to my heart. My Little Flame was being tortured. The love of my life was taking this beating because Butch wanted to make me hurt. Butch walked back up to Ember he leaned down and licked up the side of her face that was covered in blood. He turned back to the camera licking his lips before smiling, "mmmm just as sweet as I knew she would be. I bet her pussy is even sweeter. Like I said though I like it when they squirm, but I'm sure she'll be awake again soon enough. I hope you learned a lesson from this as well. Bye for now Hawk." With that the video ended.

I just stared down at my phone. Suddenly I notice water hitting my phone screen. I looked up but it wasn't raining. I felt my face and realized I was crying. I promised to keep her safe. I failed my Little Flame. He caused her pain. I am going to cause him pain.

I finally looked around to my brothers who were all waiting for me to tell them what to do., "None of them live." I stated coldly. Everyone grunted in agreement. When they had taken Ember and killed Crow everyone wanted vengeance but now we all craved blood for what we had just witnessed. "Key pulled a location from the first video. They're 20 minutes out of town at an abandoned house. Gage's group is going to meet us there. No mercy. This feud ends today, but priority number one is to get Ember out of there. As soon as any of us finds her you extract her as quickly as possible and get her to Doc who will be waiting in his van. Get her to the hospital as soon as you can. We ride." We all mounted up and left the DR's clubhouse behind; we'd return later and burn it to the ground. Nothing of the DR's would survive this. For now though we went towards the location Key had sent me. I'm coming my Little Flame.
