"Taehyung where are we going now," Jennie whined, her legs hurt because of her heels and how exhausting the concert had turned out to be. She was literally screaming the fanchant on the top of her lungs.

"Just wait for it, Jennie," he said, as they continued to walk by the pavement. It was 11 pm and the street was currently vacant, not a single soul to be seen but the apartments were totally lit, in every shade. And then Jennie finally realized where they were going. The Han River.

The bridge that was built across the Han River looked like the most artistic thing to ever exist. The grass swayed back and forth because of the strong gush of the wind, the city lit up like thousands of bulbs. The whole area had a welcoming feeling to it.

She and Taehyung sat on the lush dry grass, admiring the scene in front of them. Jennie sighed, not meaning to. Taehyung took a small stone that lied on the grass and threw it in the river, as it created a squishy sound.

"Taehyung,"

He turned his head to her direction, "Hmm?"

"We have been friends for almost two months, yet I don't know much about you. How come?" Jennie asked, realizing she didn't know anything about his family background or anything.

He exhaled, closing his eyes for a moment. Hesitation was clear in his voice at first but it got softer as he spoke, "There is nothing much to know about. My family is like strangers living in a hotel. We see each other in the morning and then we don't know where we are until Good night. I was the result of a mere one-night stand and their marriage was just to keep the family's respect. Neither they love each other nor am I embraced well."

Jennie felt herself drown in the conversation, she could relate. He continued to speak, "Some people envy me because I have money. I envy them because they have a family,"

Jennie had no idea what to do, but since they are now sharing feelings, she could go for it too, right? "I can relate," Jennie said, falteringly, grabbing Taehyung's attention to th fullest.

Jennie picked up a stone, throwing it in the river, with another splash sound. "I was seven when I saw my mom die. I saw my dad get a new wife and two new daughters when I was eight. And when I was thirteen, I was sent to this hostel. I had a wonderful connection with my mom, unfortunately, that connection didn't really last for long. I am ten thousand kilometres away from my dad and, I can never see my mom again,"

She didn't realize that he was staring at her the whole time, with a sad face. She slowly turned her face towards him, staring in each other's eyes, shutting the world out for some minutes, as he leaned in slowly.

This was happening, Jennie told herself before closing her eyes, as they finally kissed. She felt again the rush of incapacity, the dropping yielding, the surging wave of emotions that left her debilitated. He bent back her head across his arm and kissed her, softly at first, and then with a swift gradation of passion that made her cling to him as the only solid thing in a lofty swaying world. His persistent mouth was parting her shaking lips, sending wild tremors along her nerves, evoking from her sensations she had never known she was capable of feeling. She was kissing him back, immersing herself in the sensation.

Finally pulling away, foreheads leaned against each other, gasping for breath, eyes closed. He intertwined their hands slowly. He whispered, "Do you regret it?"

She smiled, "Not even a single bit,"
