As much as Jennie was being cynical about it, she was giggling so much behind the screen of her phone. Her cheeks had already turned into a shade of red with all these flirts and hearts. Two months back, they were chatting like they were colleagues in a bank and now they are chatting like they have been crushing on each other for years.
"Oh my goodness,"
Jennie snapped her head back at the voice, her best friend aka Park Chaeyoung who was sitting behind her, was reading the whole conversation silently. Jennie felt a gush of embarrassment.
"It's not what you think!" Jennie said, closing her phone and standing up
Chaeyoung looked at her in disbelief, "Jen, please. I legit saw you flirting and sending each other hearts. You are turning Discord into Tinder,"
Jennie exhaled, "Chae, I promi-" but Chaeyoung had already cut her off, "Do you two like each other?"
Jennie felt a bit taken aback. Yeah for sure, he understood her better than anyone, he made her smile when sadness had eloped her emotions, he made her blush like no one else but did she really like him that way?
"I thought you were dating that GUCCI guy though, the one you told me about," Chaeyoung said, filling the silent atmosphere once again. Jennie was quick to answer this time, "His name is Taehyung, not GUCCI guy, and he is just my friend!"
The blonde cocked an eyebrow, "Every relationship starts from a friendship,"
Jennie sighed, maybe she should tell Chaeyoung about her suspicions that Taehyung and winter bear are the same person. "Chae I want to tell you something,"

"Holy Moly, your love story is really something else," Chaeyoung said, with the most dramatic monotone, as Jennie finished narrating her story.
"At least it's not as simple as you and that guy you met at Starbucks," Jennie said, eye-rolling
"His name is Jungkook, and we are not dating. We are just good friends!" Chaeyoung immediately corrected her, throwing a pillow at Jennie's face
"Every relationship starts from a friendship," Jennie said, mimicking Chaeyoung.
Chaeyoung sighed, "As I was saying, are you sure that they are the same people?" Jennie bit her lip, even though she believed it at times, she had no solid proof.
Before Jennie could say more, her phone buzzed a message. A message from Taehyung.
"I got two tickets to Hyuna's concert which is tomorrow night. My friend is not coming because he has dinner plans with someone. You wanna come with me?"
Jennie widened her eyes, Hyuna has been one of her favourite singers. She definitely wants to go, but tomorrow was Saturday which means her and Chaeyoung's movie night. They rarely cancelled them and took them seriously.
"By the way Jen, I am going to a dinner tonight, so I will be home late. Do you mind I cancel our movie night?" Chaeyoung's voice interrupted Jennie little thought bubble.
Maybe luck was still on Jennie's side.
"Sure, Chaeyoung. I definitely don't mind," Jennie said smiling like she won a lottery
