It was Sunday evening and it had been raining cat & dogs, everyone was kinda surprised since it was June and they didn't expect it to rain so hard, people who had plans outside were right now cursing the rain, but then there was Kim Taehyung. He was loving the sound of the rain, the way it hit the window pane and then slid down, creating a frost, the way the cold breeze made him snuggle in a blanket, especially when he had a book and coffee by his side. Even though the book wasn't totally Taehyung's type, he was reading it without any complaints.
He was just reading the 15th chapter when he heard his phone vibrate because of a notification. As he groaned before picking it up to see what has arrived, he mentally prayed that it was not an assignment, and there was a notification from Wattpad.

Taehyung almost propelled the blanket off his body in excitement, but there was more than one reason behind that smile. Last week he had posted a message to J's message board that "Please write a new story. The first one was amazing!"
Did she really just posted a new story because he requested it? Or maybe she was planning one all along. Shrugging those questions off, he kept the first book on the nightstand and then opened the story link

As Taehyung read the description, he was immediately reminded of the day when he found out that his girlfriend was cheating all along. Taehyung believed that he wasn't the best boyfriend in this world, but he also never gave his girlfriend any reason to cheat. That was the day when Taehyung lost his faith in the SOULMATE theory. He started believing that true love never exists and happy endings only take place in stories, not in real life. The reality is much crueler, much harsher. We shouldn't expect much from people, we shouldn't have too much hope, we shouldn't love anyone too much, because that too much will only hurt us later on. That's what Taehyung believed.
and only someone special can make Taehyung realize that the real world isn't as cruel and harsh as he thinks, and soulmates exist
and one day Kim Taehyung will find his soulmate too
