Jennie dialed a number as she let out a sigh. It was the summer break and all her friends were going places. Rose was in Australia, Lisa visited her family in Thailand and Jisoo was traveling Jeju with her brother. As for Jennie, she was alone in her hostel. You might be wondering why she didn't visit New Zealand. No, it's not because of her stepmother and stepsister, it's because she feels excluded there. She doesn't feel like she is part of the family, it may be because out of 365 days, she spends 300 days in another country. For her, family means her best friends. Jennie, Rose, who was also her roommate, Lisa, and Jisoo bonded 2 years back when they were supposed to work on a project together. Ever since they 4 stick to each other and share everything.

It was 2 days since the summer break started and Jennie was already dying due to boredom. She finished her homework, wrote essays, studied English, streamed all her favorite music videos, read her favorite novel, and everything else. Now, she was just rolling on her bed, hearing songs, and eating. She didn't know what she should do. Right now, she was on a call with Nayeon, another friend from the boarding school.

"Girl, I am so bored, I don't know how I will spend this motherfucking break," Jennie said for the ninth time as she kept rolling on her bed. "Same Jen, but I found a time pass, I have been reading Wattpad stories for the past 2 hours," Nayeon told her

"Watt What?" Jennie asked as she scrunched her eyebrows

"It's a book writing and reading app," Nayeon told her

Three days passed and the next thing Jennie knew was that she was in love with that app. She had read over 5 books and was already loving everything about this app. Right now she was reading, "With a twist" but another thing was catching her attention.

She wondered how it would be if she writes her own book. She would be lying if she said she doesn't have a whole imagination land where she creates so many stories, but are they good enough? Her friends always told her that she is amazing at writing, so why not give it a chance. Will people read it? Will it get any support? Maybe.

After 2 hours of wondering, Jennie decided to do it, but her account needed some changes.

She was never a fan of cliches and that highschool fall-in-love stories. She found them too boring and cringe. Jennie focused on emotions, and she knew that no one has a perfect life. She was tired of people portraying their characters sometimes as perfect people. She wanted to write a story, full of emotions and problems. Angst was something she treasured.
