Cupid's Plan

Chapter Six- Valentine's Day.

~~Taryn's point of view~~

Today is Valentine's day. It has been four days since the dance. Saturday morning, while he went to tell his family and pick up Paxtyn, I went and got all my stuff and moved into their house. It was easier for me to move than them. I also didn't want to disrupt Paxtyn.

He came home alone that day. He said Pepper was insistent on her keeping Paxtyn over the weekend and giving us time. We didn't need it. We did stay in bed the entire weekend. The only time we spent apart was when I went to the graveyard. The chemistry he and I have is beyond anything I felt before. Not that I am putting what I had with Carson down at all. He was all I wanted until he wasn't there anymore.

We didn't only have the physical connection in bed. We talked about everything. We both know what each other went through in the past, and we both agree on what we want in our future. We are both thankful that his family accepted me with open arms. We had dinner at their place last night.

I did go to the principal of the school and tell her about our relationship yesterday. I didn't want to keep it a secret. I didn't know what their rules were on a teacher dating a student's parent. She assured me that there would be no issues as long as favoritism wasn't shown to Paxtyn or Phoenix.

All the adults sat down with them after dinner and explained to the kids that they would need to keep it as quiet as possible until the end of the school year. We also explained to them that they wouldn't be treated any differently at school than they were now. The only thing that did change is they ride to school with me. I have to go there anyway. I did keep Tim's routine; I go pick up Phoenix.

It isn't out of the way. Sebastian's house is on the way to the school; It felt good walking into their home yesterday and today when picking them up. They immediately made me feel like part of the family. In just four days, my life has completely changed. I trusted Carson. I didn't fight it, and it has been fantastic.

The bell rings, letting me know that it is time for lunch and specials for the kids. Which means my lunch period and my planning period. I brought my lunch, so I stay in my classroom. I get up to get my lunchbox, and my phone beeps.

~~Text Conversation~~

Tim: "It's time for your lunch, right?"

Taryn: "It is."

Tim: "Meet me outside?"

Taryn: "Ok."

~~End conversation~~

I make my way outside. As soon as I step out the door, I see him but have to cross the street to get to him. I walk a little faster. He meets me halfway; Our lips connect as soon as we do. We have not been able to stand being away from each other. Neither of us has complained.

Tim: "I'm glad you chose to wear that dress."
