~~Tim's point of view~~
Tomorrow is the daddy-daughter dance with Paxtyn. Pepper bought her dress. She then forced me to g shopping with her to make sure that my outfit matched Paxtyn. I didn't really give her much of a fight. I don't push my limits with her; She could take both of my children from me. I know she wouldn't, but I keep that worry in the back of my mind.
Four years later, she still makes me as nervous as she did that day in the courtroom for Phoenix's adoption. She will still always be my biggest regret. I know that I messed that up. I will always care about her. We share two children now. If I keep my shit straight, I have nothing to worry about.
We drove to Cookeville in Putnam county. Correction, she drove. She won't get in the car if I am driving. That comes from when we were dating. I did some stupid shit; one episode was the one time it snowed a lot, which is rare for this area. I thought it would be funny to speed. I had to slam on the brakes; the car fishtailed and almost threw us off the road. From that day on, if we are in a car together and it's just us, she drives.
She has Maxwell with her today. Fawn kept all the others at home. They work well as a team; they always have. Fawn still hasn't fully forgiven me. I don't blame her. She looked up to me. She needed me as much as Pepper did. I walked out on them all.
Look where it got me. Alone with a child. I will forever be grateful to Pepper. She is an amazing mother to all of her children. I do notice she pay extra attention to Paxtyn when she has her. I know it's because of Vixen. She is also the oldest girl for Pepper. She just has Liberty and Paxtyn.
I will never forget the day Luka Jr. was born. They thought they were having a girl. Luka was disappointed, but he wouldn't admit it, Pepper. When he was born, and he was a boy, Luka lost his mind. He was over the moon happy. He said the doctor said: "Oopsie, we've made a mistake." I can only imagine the cursing out Pepper gave her.
We are randomly walking through stores. I have been given the privilege of pushing the stroller. She is too busy going in and out of stores. I am just along for the ride. As I said before, I don't argue with either Morrison girl even though they both are no longer Morrison's.
Pepper: "TIM!"
Tim: "What?"
Pepper: "Come here."
I walk over to her with the stroller. She pushes a shirt to me.
Pepper: "Go try it on."
I don't argue. I have no idea what Paxtyn's dress looks like, but I assume it's pink. The shirt she just shoved in my face is a darker shade of pink. I go in the dressing room then come out and show her.
Pepper: "Perfect. Leave that on and try both of these on with it."
She hands me pants and a tie.
