It's cold during the nights, the city continued to be in despair.
No sign of the ninjas, no sign of lloyd, especially no sign of Cyrus.
The heavy feeling of the worst that could had been on Acronix's mind for days. What if he died? What if he is being held hostage? Borg can do so little on his own when it came to protection or self defense.
Despair is all he could feel, all he could think of. And surely all he could see. A bare wall with little to nothing to look at. Only the indents of scratch marks and things that was previously thrown at. Soft sobs left the males throat, he became heartbroken by the foolish thoughts that have consumed his mind. He didn't want to loose his love. He didn't know how any of this happened. He focused so much on getting preparations done. He even went his way to buy something expensive, yet Suttle just for Cyrus.
But failed to protect Cyrus as he promised. He looked at the small box he treasured and made sure didn't fall far from himself. He held it close to his chest and quietly cried. "Mi Amor.. lo siento...", [My love.. im sorry...] he cried out. "Debería haberte protegido, pero no pude hacer eso." [I should have protected you, but I couldn't do that]. He whined. His hair fell frontward as he leaned forward.
"Im so stupid...", he muttered, letting out smaller sobs. Hearing others chant, he turned his head. He had disregarded any other noise, so he crawled over to the bars to look out. Everyone there chanting, "the resistance never quit!". He stood up, a sudden crash came from across and he saw a flash of light go around the main tower then the bars opened up entirely. He peered out while cheers erupted loudly.
"Brother!" Krux called out, snapping Acronix out of his thoughts. Acronix smiled lightly and ran to him, hugging his older brother tightly. "Krux" he whined. It melted the elders heart to hear him so upset. He held the younger closely and made them both sit down. "Don't cry..." Krux whispered to his twin, but Acronix couldn't help but melt into his hold, crying softly. "I miss him...I miss borg..." he cried.
"I know...but he should be safe... his daughter should of atleast got him to safety before this all happened.." Krux explained softly, knowing very well that he would be upset for a while. "Why not try to find him hmm?" He hummed as his younger looked up at him with hopeful eyes. "Can we..?" Acronix, having the elder nod. Acronix eagerly gotten up and held his brothers hands as he followed suit. "Lets prove to the city that you are good..." Acronix whispered. Krux fell silent. "Do you...?" "I think it's time hermano" he softly said in reply.

Krux drove nervously. Them having to highjack a car just to get to the city wasn't the best idea. But Acronix would of given them away by fast forwarding. But that didn't matter, they was getting to fhe city quickly. "I was gunna ask how you knee how to drive-" "but it was a stupid question?" "Yeeah-" the twins chuckled at their ability to read each others minds. Acronix leaned back quietly and smiled. Loving how he got to spend time with his twin.
No threats, no TC, just like how they use to.
Though it turned to a frown when he thought about Cyrus. Making his heart ache again. "Do you know any placed where borg could be?" Asked Krux, who took notice of his brothers despair. "Kinda.." Nixy muttered as he looked to him. "Then what's one place you believe he could be?" "Well...in his apartment, which is in the tower itself. And underneath the tower" explained the younger.
"Underneath?" Krux questioned. "Underground is suppose to be a highly guarded vault for relics and powerful items. I've discovered that the broken remains of the time blades are there." Acronix muttered as he looked forward. "Dont remind me of those.." krux muttered, but he had to abrutly stop the car, nearly sending Acronix flying forward. He choked on the seat belt resisting him going any further. "The hell?!" He yelled.
Krux quickly got out. "We gotta go!" He exclaimed. Nixy looked forward, but felt his blood run cold. "The fuck is that." He muttered by the giant rock foot coming their way. He got out and ran with his brother. The two sprinted down a long ally that connects to another street. But they was stopped abrutly by a sudden loud crash, the building beside them started to topple over them.
Acronix paniced and had his hands glow red, stopping the fallen building above. But due to weight, he barely could hold it. Krux pulled him out of the ally so that he could release the power. Panting, Acronix held onto his brother. "You're not use to...what use to be my element. It's why you're weaker when you use it for larger objects like that." The elder explained. He made sure Acronix was able to stand properly before they started to run once again.
"That...that thing! It surely know where...where we are trying to h..head!" Acronix yelled. He looked back and saw another building fall the giant making past it and looking their direction. His eyes widen in fear and he grabbed his brothers hand before he speed up to get them in a safer distance. They both stopped and panted hard, each trying to catch their breath. "T..thank heavens you did that...we..would of been crushed.." krux muttered as he glanced to his brother. Who was trying to calm himself down. "You ok-?", "Why don't you try looking back to find the thing staring at you-?" Acronix muttered with a small glare.
Krux puts his hands up. "Why look back anyways-?", "Because I'm stupid", Acronix joked. Making the other chuckle. "No, you're not stupid. It's a natural reaction", Krux said and looked around. "Lets head to a roof top and see if we are any closer to the tower." Krux suggested. He walked to a building with an emergency stairway down the side of it. Acronix looked back before he followed after. Krux picked up a rock and threw it at the mechanics of the ladder. Making the already flimsy hold give way and dropping it down for the two.
Climbing the latter and then the stairway. The twins made it to the top of the 5 story building. Krux looked around quietly before he spotted the monster once again. But it walking twoards the borg tower. "This is...not going to be easy.." he muttered. "And who says that we've had it easy? Let's take this on. The time twin style." Acronix said with a bright grin. Krux smiled softly and nodded. Before a grin took over. "Our style" he whispered before looking back to the broken city and the tower that resides in the middle.
Hoping to undo the pain he'd caused, and clear his name. He is willing to do it. No matter what trouble they find themselves in.
