Chapter 44

Getting to the tower became much more harder for the twins. There was alot more of the gang they had faced before. And they was much more stronger then the ones stationed at the prison. But it was nothing to them.

Being cornered by what? Eight? They still manage to take them down swiftly. And quietly. But though after scouting the front. They simply wouldn't just waltz on in like its nothing. They would of been pinned on the spot. "Brother I thought you was done with disguises" Acronix said in annoyance at his brothers plan. "I'm not Dr. Saunders anymore. That's over with. But you know we can't just walk-". "I know! But I can simply use my element-" "you rely too much on...your element. Its time that you do things without it." They interupted each other, krux being the last to speak. Making the other silent.

"Honestly Hermano. I've spent years without the element. Even still today. But I've did manage to get things done without it. You masters rely on it too much." He said seriously. It hurt Acronix that he didn't call himself a master anymore. Or took word that it's as well his element. Nixy may have the entire element, but Krux is still his twin. An ex-elemental master. And thus the element as well belongs to him just as it does to Acronix.

"Fine..", Acronix muttered, glancing down to his feet. But his attention was brought to after clothing was shoved at him. "Put it on. We'll deal with our faces in a bit." Krux instructed. Already getting himself dressed up. And out of the prison attire. Acronix was hesitant but he followed suit. After that, Krux got to work with applying white makeup on his twin, making sure to fit the theme they had. "I still wonder why they had this on them.." Acronix muttered. Finding the makeup unsettling.

"Only the Spinjitzu Master knows." Krux replied before he allowed Acronix do the same to him. After that, they restyled their hair. Krux had more ease with this, but Acronix had trouble. But just went with a man bun to suit.

By that time, they was ready. They couldn't change their eyes. Not krux atleast. Acronix had sucessfully made his eyes green. One grabbing a different melee weapon. One bat and one pipe. They walked to the tower, Acronix really wanted to rush in just to see if he was there. But it would blow their cover.

Krix motioned for him to split up from him. Which did so they wouldn't cause suspensions. Krux had successfully made it to the door without much questioning from anyone. But Acronix had a bit of a harder time due to his nice nature.

"I never seen you around before. Why just show up now?" A male asked abrurly. Acronix kept a neutral face. "Why worry when I show up? I doubt you know half of the gang.", Acronix bluntly said back glaring at him. "The quiet one would have been informed of you." The male said back, Acronix had no idea who that is. "Well let me go talk to them. And make sure it's confirmed that I'm in. I wouldn't of been here if I wasn't." He pushed the guy to to ground and walked to the building. The guys partner laughed at him.

"Go inform Mr. E before they get to the Quiet One." The make whispered. The other stopped laughing to process what was said. "Of course." The other muttered and looked back before taking a photo of Acronix. Heading off to privately deliver the message to Mr. E.

Acronix finally made it to his brother and whined slightly. "I hate you for this." Krux laughed a bit, "love you too little brother". Grinning, they both walk into the building. Which was trashed ultimately. Acronix just felt so bad that everything was ruined. All of Borgs creations. They made it to the elevator. But before Acronix could press the button. The number ticked down fast. In a panic, he moved to the side, pulling his brother along.

Pressing against the wall. They waited quietly for the door to ding. Out came a white haired woman who clearly was enraged. "I want EVERYONE to find that fucking green ninja! No other word!" She demanded in a angry tone. Followed after another woman with only a high ponytail and little else hair. The twins looked at each other in shock before slipping in. Acronix pressed the button and the keypad below popped open. He quietly pressed the correct code before the door shuts. And back the keypad it goes.

"Who are those people-?" "I absolutely got no idea..." Acronix responded. Rubbing his neck. "She looks like the Jade princess.." he muttered as he turned to look out the glass. Hating the view as the city was majorly destroyed.  "Lets hope borg is here...if not, we are going to the basement..". "Since when was there a basement?" Krux asked as he turned to him. "Recently built before all of this. It's more of a high security vault then ever." The younger explained as the door dinged. Once again he retype the code and the door opened. They both walked down a apartment-like hall to a door at the end.

Acronix was hesitant before he opened the door that was unlocked.  "Borg..?" He muttered out looking around for him. This area was actually Borgs home, the room before was a spare room incase he was too tired to arrive here.

There was a long eerie silence before the two split up to find him in his large apartment. Cyrus went to see the bedroom and krux remained in the living room. Hating how advance everything is. Acronix however made sure not to miss a spot incase of there was a secret door anywhere. "Brother! I found something!" Krux called out. Making the younger look and run out of the room quickly. Down the small hall and to where his brother stood.

They both looked down a half stairway. The other side a complete dark hole. It surely was dark in the room. "Where does that lead to..?" Acronix quietly asked. "Dont know..." Krux muttered. They looked to each other before Krux walked down with Acronix in towe. They are unable to find the light switch in the beginning. But once they got down, krux managed to turn on the lights. Blinding them for just a second. But a voice suddenly startled them.

"Who is there?!"

"Who are you...?"
