Chapter 28

Its been a bit, but I wasn't feeling my best last week. And I am sorry in advance, but I am trying my best with getting better.

Heading down a few floors, the two headed out the elevator. Acronix was already hit with a wonderful smell. It smelt like home to him, way close to home. It made him frown a bit, even felt homesick. Cyrus took notice to his distress and gently held one of his hands. "Nixy what is wrong?" He asked gently to him. Acronix looked down at Borg before he frowned more. "Guess... you could say that I'm homesick" he admitted. "The smell...me recuerda a casa" he said, though Cyrus blanked out by the sudden language change.

"Oh- I'm sorry- it reminds me of home.." Acronix corrected himself. Now that he actually thought about home, he realized how close it actually was getting to his and Krux's birthday. Which had him silent. "Well...we don't know if it's safe to go there. I've heard Zena was attacked by your brother while there." Cyrus said with a small frown. "I would want to take you back to your home so you could revisit it, but now is...technically not the right time to, thanks to the situations of your twin." He explained.

Acronix acknowledged his words and nodded. "I understand, me amor." He muttered as he gently hugged him. Cyrus smiled softly as he hugged him back. Though having no idea what he said at the end. The two parted and have decided to have breakfast. Its been pratically '40' years since Nixy had a decent breakfast. And he was fascinated by SYM's cooking. Though he felt his watch vibrate and he took it out, opening it.

It was another signal to meet Krux. Nixy looked to Cyrus, who looked very hesitant. "I...don't recommend going to him...not now...Krux could be doing this to hurt you." He explained to the twin. Who took the moment to think about it before he closed his watch and put it to the side on the table. Though it jiggled here and there as to say that Krux was still trying to signal him. But Acronix only ignored it. It eventually stopped and he sighed.

"Hey. It's ok." Cyrus said to him as he placed his hand on his shoulder. "It's not...honestly...its getting close to mine and his birthday and there was only so little time we spent together that he didnt hurt me...it's not going to be the same without him on the day." Acronix explained, which made Cyrus quiet. Had him thinking actually. "Oh...that is upsetting.." the inventor muttered, darting his eyes to the table. "It is when one spent 40 years celebrating his birthday without the younger. And the other was stuck in the time vortex during the time." Acronix muttered.

Though before things got more upsetting for Nixy, his phone rang. He looked down at it and picked it up, seeing it was lloyd. He- was only allowed his number- for reasons. Though Nixy had a blanked moment, not knowing what to press for it. "Uh- Cyrus how do I answer it-?" He asked innocently. It made Cyrus chuckle a bit before he showed him the green button. "After pressing it, put it up to your ear to talk", Cyrus explained.

Nixy nodded and answered the call, "hello?" He said. "Morning Acronix, I hope you are ready for today as we have to test your fighting ability. And as well your element ability." Lloyd greeted, then explained his reason for calling him early in the morning. Acronix had forgotten about that and smiled nervously. "Of course, just- exactly where?" He asked.

"The burned down Monastery, we have been rebuilding it lately so you wouldn't expect to see much destruction." Lloyd explained, though the blonde looked back at the others who was finishing up cleaning out the yard. "Oh! I can be there in just a moment!" Acronix joyfully said, his spirit suddenly lifted. Dispite what happened there, he wanted to revisit a old memory. "How when its- oh never mind, I forgot you can fast forward" lloyd was starting to say till his mind clicked.

"Ill make sure to be there lloyd, see you then" Acronix said before he pointed his phone to Cyrus, who smiled lightly and pressed the end button for him. Acronix smiled brightly and hugged him gently. "Hopefully this time I can train with the ninjas without Krux interfering", Nixy said with a sheepish smile. "Just be safe love." Cyrus whispered to him, which had Acronix to blush.  "Though, exactly when is your birthday?" Cyrus asked.

"Just in two weeks from today", Nixy said as he stood up properly. "Though I'm not really expecting to celebrate that day. Not without Krux. Regardless of situations, he's my twin. I rather be there with him than without." He explained in a slight serious tone. But that was before he gave Cyrus a small kiss on the cheek before he disappeared into a faint green mist. Cyrus had to think about this one for sure, and have to find out what will work against Acronix's stubbornness.

Acronix arrived at the monetary just in seconds. The green electricity cleared out, though it startled Jay by his sudden appearance. Which caused a bolt of lightning to target right at Acronix. Though he stopped the bolt just barely, it was way too close to his sensitive hip. It made him cringe at the thought of it being hit. "Nice to meet you too, again" he said with a slight sarcastic voice. Moving away from the bolt and releasing it, so that it just traveled in the air without anyone in path.

"Ah! I'm sorry!" Jay squeaked, which caught everyone's attention. "Good to see that you could make it here. Thought you wouldn't come here due to the past evens." Lloyd said as he put a long 2x4 in place for the frame of the building. He dusted off his hands and wiped off his face before he walked over. "Yeah there may be some...bad memories I've had here, but its good to revisit a old location." Acronix said with a small smile.

"The new attire suits you. Really shows the man that you are" lloyd complimented, which a small thanks was returned from Nixy. "Ay, before we start and all. I want to know something, Zena said you had a energy of being possessed by something. Do you know what that thing was?" Cole asked after he finally turned his attention to the twin after doing the heavy lifting of plywood. "Oh- well...the thing is..the being that had me under control is..hard to explain.." Nixy said a bit nervously.

"Just not sure if I'm ready to tell any of you about TC yet. Sorry", he apologized. "And you don't have to if you're uncomfortable. But you do at some point as you know you can't fight this thing alone. Out of anyone we expect, krux was the one that had to help you. Hell, Zena said he showed a more caring side when you was in danger." Lloyd explained softly to him. "Well. Dispite how he is, we are still twins. And he would still care for me in any way." Nixy said softly.

"I can figure that, but we should start seeing what you could do in physical fight, and in your element." Lloyd turned to his friends. "But do make sure to go easy, then increase difficulty over time-" "oh no- don't go easy on me because of my appearance. Give me your best shot." Acronix interupted him, feeling determined of whats to come next.
