Severus' POV

The old stairs creaked as severus walked down them, it was only 6:30 in the morning, so he knew he had time to make breakfast, and time to walk to 9 3/4 since he already packed his trunk.

7:45 AM

Small footsteps could be heard slowly making their way to the kitchen, it was severus' mother, he just smiled as a way of greeting her, because his mouth was stuffed with oatmeal and bread.

"Good morning dear" his mother greeted him with a small smile aswell.

Severus shook his head as a way of acknowledging her. He knew father wouldn't be down until later, the man always woke up late. Severus served his mother, he always made sure she ate before his father woke up. It was now 8 o'clock, he was finished with breakfast, and was now heading upstairs to get his trunk and his small tattered suitcase that contained his clothes, and school robes.

Sure, the pant legs were getting short, you could see his ankles if you paying any attention to him, but he decided he would fix this problem when he finally made it to Hogwarts.

Kissing his mother goodbye, severus made his way to 9 3/4.

"Oi snivellus!"

Severus turns around slowly, hoping and praying to God it wasn't who he thought it was, but of course it was! Was severus snape ever thought of to be lucky?!

Why did it have to always be him, i mean come on, it hasn't even been their first day yet and their seeking him out already?

Severus breathed in and breathed out twice, trying to calm himself, for some reason these prats always seemed to get under his skin, even if it was just them laughing and enjoying their time doing whatever they did for fun, it always seemed to irk him.

"Well well well, it seems the slimy snake had made a wrong turn" Sirius.

"This is our turf snivellus, get out of here!" Peter.

Severus sighed under his breath, he wanted to just walk past them, pretending he didn't even see them, but the would just egg them on, making them bother him even more.

He sneered, and quickly walked past them, making his way to another compartment.

"Yeah! Thats right, run with your tail between your legs you slimy snake!" Peter shouted after him.

Severus ignored this, the rat-faced boy was only doing what he thought was something good, after all you have to hate Severus snape to be a part of the Marauders group, right?

Severus finally found small compartment with no one in it, well it was occupied now, by him of course. He set his suitcase down and took the small shrunken trunk out of his pocket to lie down on one of the seats. It would be very uncomfortable if he had still kept it in their.

Severus quickly fell asleep, his body was aching and he still didn't know what was happening, not to mention he had just came into contact with the four goofballs (minus Lupin of course)
He felt as if he was loosing energy by just paying attention to them.

The raven haired boy decided that he wasn't gonna think of them anymore, so this afternoon severus went to sleep dreaming of having a stable job and rescuing his mother from the monster that lived in their own home, taking her to a new home, a new life, where she didn't have to worry about anything anymore.
