SEVERUS' POV

Leaving his mother behind felt harder than usual. He already missed her as he walked through the door after saying goodbye, his father was too busy eating breakfast and drinking to pay any attention as usual. So with a heavy heart and a nervous feeling in the pit of his stomach, Severus made his way to King Cross train station.

He sat down with a huff, finally reaching the Hogwarts express, he was especially relieved to not run into anyone he didn't want to see.

Placing his suitcase in its respected place, after a while he heard his compartment door being knocked on, without thinking he shouted "come in!" There standing halfway through the compartment door was the old trolley witch, she had a warm smile on her face, Severus didn't think she would travel this far down the corridor of the train, since he was sure there were no students in the compartments next to him, that was how far down he was.

"Hello there! Would you like any sweets on this fine day?"

Severus hesitated, he wasn't used to buying sweets or anything for himself, cause either he was saving whatever money he had for another purpose or he just didn't have the money to buy sweets, which were his comfort food.

He decided he would buy his favorite candy, chocolate.

He picked out 4 chocolate frogs and gave her the required money, she thanked him and closed back the door, leaving Severus alone.

He ate 2 of them, Saving the other 2 for later.

'Hi severus!'

He jumped out of his seat, and looked around the compartment to see the doors closed, and the room empty apart from him.

He stood in the same spot for awhile before he sat back down again.

That was weird, what a strange voice, I don't recognize it at all..

'Hey! My voice isn't strange!'

Severus jumped up again, his wand ready this time.

"Who's there! Who are you and what do you want!"

'Well, I'm your inner veela Severus, I'm inside your head'

"What? Inner veela?-"

'Yes, my name is Isaac, I've been here all along'

"My mother never told me anything about having an inner veela"

'Either your mother was never taught about the inner veela, or she just forgot, but I'm going with number 1'

"So your saying my mother never knew about this- wait does every veela have an inner veela? And how are you inside my head, can you read my mind?"

'Slow down sev, I mean if I can call you that, I'm basically apart of you, I've always been there, I just wasn't able to speak to you cause you hadn't gone through your inheritance'

"Well, when did i go through my inheritance?"

'When you turned fifteen, I didn't talk to you at once though cause I didn't want to startle you, I wanted to wait until you were sure your a veela'

"Oh ok, I see now, but still can you read my mind?"

'*giggles* yes I can read your mind, which means you don't have to talk out loud when your talking to me'
