SEVERUS' POV

Getting back to his dorm was all a blur, he was next to his bed on his knees, his fists clenched tight. He was so mad, of all the years he was bullied at Hogwarts this was the first time he ever really felt like killing someone. He swore to himself he would get back his revenge, but.. how?

He couldn't prank them, they would instantly know it was him. It wasn't particularly easy to prank four people, well.. three but he didn't hate Lupin as much as he hated Black and Potter, Pettigrew wasn't worth much either, he knew the real master minds were the famous Quidditch star, and the dazzling Handsome player of the school.

He really couldn't hate Lupin like he did with potter and black, but he still did hate him, you can't really blame him, he thought Lupin was the smart one, though he saw now that the sickly boy would rather his friends accept him than do what was really right.

Severus tried to calm down, and stop his tears from spilling any
longer, he breathed in and out a couple times then stood up.

He looked down at himself, he was covered in the gooey slime, though the itching subsided, because he scratched too hard, there were red rashes shaped like fingernails on his skin.

He grimaced.

He went to his trunk and grabbed a small case, it contained cylinder shaped bottles, he opened one that read "rubbing cream" and he massaged it on the skin that had rash.

Back in third year he was normally the target of pranks that caused these kind of things, so he made this to help himself out, it was quite handy, he always thought to himself.

He placed back his case in the trunk and watched as the rash disappeared, now that he had calmed down and taken care of the rashes, he grabbed his wand and scourgified his robes a number of times, the slime barely budged, he sighed.

He casted the charm that told him the time, he realised that the feast was still going on, he decided he would have to use the bathroom to wash his clothes and bathe of course.

He stepped into the bathroom that was provided in his dorm, thanking whatever Deity that was up there that he had time to use the Bathroom before any of his dorm mates arrived.

He slipped into the shower, allowing the water to run through his greasy and slimey hair, of course, He didn't wash it properly, only making sure that all the slime was out. He used his rag and rubbed it onto his skin a bit before stepping out of the shower, squeezing it out, and used it to dry himself.

After getting dressed in a simple shorts and shirt, he grabbed the robes that was covered in the slime, which was now turning to a dark green and withering into a brownish colour.

He deemed it now a little more easy to wash out.
This calmed him, and helped him to almost forget about what happend in the Great hall. Almost.

After he was finished he cast a strong heating charm to help the robes dry faster, a few minutes later and it was completely dry.

Severus lied down in bed, thinking about what happend in the Great hall. He had to prepare himself for tomorrow, when they would all officially start clasess.

Severus felt stressed now, why was it always him? Why did they just go all out on him and embarrass him like that? He didn't do anything that would upset them, severus thought back to the train, where he last mad contact with them.

But he didn't get it, he didn't do anything that would offend them or would make them upset, all he did was his usual sneer, not giving them all his attention but about like 15% of it.

It seemed to him that it didn't matter what he did, he tried ignoring them and avoiding them, if he saw them in the hallway he took a opposite turn, if he had classes with them he would sit on other side of the class and try to not make eye contact with any of them.

He tried fighting back, but it only got him into more trouble than them, even when they started it, which they always did. Severus soon learned that his headmaster was biased, and it was just because severus was a slytherin, Dumbledore tended to listen more to the Marauders and actually believed their lies, they seemed more like the snakes to him, given how much they persuaded Dumbledore into thinking they didn't really mean any of the trouble they cause.

Professor Dumbledore thought it was a phase that young boys went through and that they would soon grow out of it, he often joked about how he was quite trouble maker himself back in the day.

Severus felt his fists clench at the thought of Dumbledore smiling
Wryfully whenever giving him a worse punishment.

Anyways.. Severus couldn't name any reason why the Marauders did this to him on the regular. It wasn't because he pissed them off, he hadn't done anything to them!

If anything and he was to cause the harm, it was because they started it, they didn't bully him for any particular reason, they.. they did it for fun..

Then something suddenly clicked, he realised.. he couldn't do anything about it, they did it for the joy and pleasure of treating him like garbage so they would never stop, never. He couldn't fight back or ignore them, he always seemed to be in the wrong whenever they were the ones provoking him, the headmaster didn't want to help him, not even his head of house! Slughorn only seemed to care about the connections he could make through a student's family. Everyone knows Severus can't even shop for himself, because he is as poor as they get.

And the worst thing was, no one seemed to care, Lily was almost never around anymore, she hung out more with her friends, and they only convinced her to stop being friends with him, he knew this was coming of course, and he prepared himself for it. Lily was only there for moral support, so was his mother, but he slowly came to notice his poor frail mother was soon to lose her sanity.

No one really cared about him at all, his mother wasn't in the condition to help, how could he ever lay any more problems on her shoulders, if she ever knew about the bullying she might as well die of shock and stress.

Lily was slowly leaving him, and soon she would finally give in to Potter's charm, and become his girlfriend.

Severus felt his face slowly begin to wet with tears. The thought of his only friend betraying him like that, it made him feel stupid, and worthless.

Stupid brain

He thought. Why didn't it just shut up and let him just fall asleep already?!

Severus sighed a heavy sigh. He really was alone..

He climbed out of his bed and grabbed his trunk and suitcase, he pushed them under his bed, pulled his curtains around him and went to sleep with a wet spot on his pillow and a tear streaked face, with a miserable scowl on it.

What a great way to start the year!

He said to himself sarcastically, before falling asleep.

When he woke up the next morning, he realised that breakfast started 15 minutes ago, he threw on his robes telling himself he could steal toast or an Apple before retreating the Great hall, but as he was about to touch the door handle when he saw something like a poster with letters on the door, it read:

Slime ball Snivellus Snape

He frowned.

It had already begun, and his in dorm too, but what should he have expected? A Good morning, of course not!

Was Severus Snape ever thought of to be lucky?!
