"Our love is six feet under
I can't help but wonder
If our grave was watered by the rain
Would roses bloom?
Could roses bloom
Again?"

6 February, 2027

"We've thought of many names from all these days. But which one should we finalise?" Ishu asked Shivam while laying in the hospital bed swinging her 2 days old new born baby in her arms.

Shivam arranged all the medicines properly on the side table and then looked at her putting his hands in the pocket.

"Rohan." He replied.

Ishu stared at him in astonishment as if she didn't believed him.
But when he smiled at her and nodded his head, she looked at her new born baby who was sleeping peacefully in her arms and her eyeline got filled up. She whispered in her baby's ear "Rohan."

She kissed his forehead gently nd then handed him to Shivam.

She asked him for that diary which Aku gave her a few days after Rohan left them.

She opened that diary for the millionth time and got drowned in it.

The whole diary was filled with many quotes that Rohan had written for her when they were in school.
It also contains her nd Rohan's photos starting from the day they got to know each other to the day when he left them alone in Mumbai.

One of those photos was clicked 5 yrs ago by Anju on Aku's birthday where Ishu was smudging the cake on Rohan's face.
Beside that a rose was pasted which Ishu gave him on Aku's birthday.

She smiled for the hundredth time at the photo and the rose. And then she opened the last page of the diary where he had written a poem dedicating to her.
She started reading it:

"Sorry for breaking your heart,
And sorry, because it broke mine too.
Sorry for every drop of your tears
And sorry, because it made me cry too.

Sorry for everytime I wounded you,
And sorry, because it stabbed me too.
Sorry for everything I did to you.
Sorry for every mistake that I did for you.
Sorry for my first mistake to love you
And sorry for my last mistake to leave you.

Sorry for evey pain that I gave you and me,
Because I wanted to save you from me.
Sorry for letting you to be someone else's,
And sorry, because it shattered me into pieces.

One last sorry for this final leave,
And I can peacefully die if you forgive."

Below the poem it was written, "Ishita, if you are reading this poem then I want to say you that, this poem have all the answers to your questions. Ab tu bas dhund le pagli."

A wide smile flickered in her lips for the thousandth time after reading that.
And at the same moment the unstoppable tears started flowing down her eyes which couldn't be stopped by any means. Those tears were bound to fall. They were bound to be unstoppable. They represented all her emotions.
All her emotions regarding him...ONLY HIM.

She pressed the diary tightly to her heart and whispered "Maine dhund liya."

Outside, the veil of foggy chilly Kolkata was slowly being dragged away by the gentle, humble rays of the sun.
And again, a new sun rose brightening a new morning.
