Chapter - 13

"But nothing heals

"If he can be happy without me then why not I? Iss bar na to main use wapas aane ko kahungi aur na hi uske judaai pe roungi." She added.

"Aur yeha Shivam mujhse beintehaan pyaar karta raha aur main use kabhi waqt hi nahi de payi!"
"Now the time has arrived for the love to come to only those who deserve it.."
Saying this, she ran towards her room.

Aku stood there silently not sure what to do next, how to manage Ishu.

And after a few minutes, Ishu came out of her room all dressed up.

She was going to open the door to come out of the apartment when Aku stopped her by asking "Where r u going?"

"Main waha jaa rahi hu jaha mujhe 2 saal pehle jana chahiye tha!" She replied nd hurried out of the apartment.

Realizing what Ishu was planning to do, Aku quickly dialed Shivam's no. nd informed him about everything.

Ishu pressed the doorbell.
Shivam knew that it was none other than her as he got informed about everything from Aku. He took a deep breath nd opened the door.

As soon as he opened it, Ishu pushed him inside along with her nd closed the door behind her.

She leaned her back against the door nd looked straight at his eyes.
She narrowed her eyes nd whispered softly "Can u be mine again?"

Shivam was thinking a lot of things at that moment while his mind was going all numb. He didn't knew how to respond. He always wanted to hear those same words from that same person's mouth. But here the situation's something different. No. Actually a lot different!

"I promise, this time I'll be yours too." She whispered pulling him closer by his collar.

"I love you." She said while kissing him below the ears.
He didn't wanted to resist.
He closed his eyes nd whispered back "I love you too, Ishita."

He pulled her more closer nd grabbed her by the back of her neck.
He placed his lips on her neck nd sucked gently. They paused nd looked at each other's lips. Slowly their lips came closer nd they kissed each other intimately.
She unbuttoned his shirt nd started kissing his bare shoulders.
He pulled her more close nd continued kissing as if they both want to get drowned into each other.

Both were hiding their tears from each other.
The tears which were having different meanings nd different reasons for both of them.
The tears which were saying a thousand words.
The tears which had witnessed nd was going to witness more pains.

"Did u reached Kolkata?" Aku asked at about 11:30 p.m.
"Yes. I've already reached." Rohan replied from the other side of phone.
"What did u told her about my leave?" He asked.

"Use kuch bolne ki zaroorat nahi hui. Usne kal khud hi sun liya tha ki tum Kolkata wapas lautne wale ho Mumbai chhodke...."

"How much did she heard?" Before Aku could finish her sentence, he prompt.

"Don't worry Rohan. She still doesn't know about ur illness. Aur usne tumhari aankhri khwaish khud hi puri kar di. Ishu nd Shivam r...."

She couldn't say anymore.
There was a long silence.
Rohan tried to hide his weep but couldn't. He broke down.

"Plz don't cry Rohan. I can understand how much pain everything's causing you." Aku said softly.

"No matter how much pain it causes me but don't tell her the truth at any cost." He said stubbornly.

"I'm just glad she didn't gave me a chance to regret." He uttered in a broken voice.

3 years later,

16 November, 2025, Mumbai.

"Aku apni saari cheez dekh liya he na? Kuchh chhuta to nahi?" Ishu yelled at Aku while confirming their last moments' packing.

"Nahi re baba! Sab kuch le liya he." Aku assured her.

Ishu, Aku nd Shivam were leaving Mumbai as they've completed their degrees nd were returning to Kolkata to their home.

The door opened nd Shivam came in.

"Jaldi kar! Or else we'd miss the flight! My car is waiting outside." He made a haste.

Ishu finished her packing nd the three of them were coming out of the apartment when Aku stopped them.
"Hey u both go downstairs nd wait for me. I've forgotten something inside."

Ishu nd Shivam started walking downstairs while Aku rushed inside her room.
She opened the wardrobe nd took out the diary which she had kept there carefully hidden for all these yrs. Yes. The diary which Rohan gave him 3 yrs back.

She gave a faint smile at it nd carefully kept it inside her bag.

When she came out, Ishu asked curiously "Kya bhul gayi thi andar?"

"Kuchh nahi." Aku ignored her question while smiling nd got up in the car.

"Ajeeb ladki he!" Ishu murmured while getting inside the car along with Shivam.

Before the car's wheels started roaming, Ishu nd Aku looked at their apartment for the last time where they've spent 5 precious yrs of their life.

They reached Kolkata at about 7:30 p.m. nd went to their respective houses.

Oh! I forgot to mention.....Ishu nd Shivam were getting married in a month.

But these days r really busy. Even today I was supposed to complete my college assignments but still am here updating this chapter 😂😂....
