Chapter 10

"Baat dil ki nazron ne ki
Sach keh raha teri kasam
Tere bin ab na lenge ek bhi dum
Tujhe kitna chahane lage hum"

"Ishita!"

She got startled by the same voice which was the reason of her tears nd her smile at the same time. She was waiting to hear this voice since 12 days. She knew he'd come.
She turned around nd faced him.

"Rohan!" She whispered.

"Ishita I've came back. I came back to you. Only for you!" He said softly.

"I'm yours! All yours Ishita!" He said spreading his arms.
Ishu came running nd hugged him tightly.

"I knew u would come Rohan. I love u!!" She said closing her eyes.

"I love u too!!" He said embracing her more tightly.

She broke the hug nd asked "But why didn't u tried to contact me in these 12 days??"

His smile faded nd he turned around to leave.

"Rohan wait! Where r u going?" She tried to stop him.

But he didn't stopped. He continued walking away from her. He didn't turn back to her again.

"Rohan wait! Why r u leaving me again?" She cried her heart out.

"Plz don't leave me Roh!! I'd die without u!!" She continued to weep but he didn't stopped. He never stopped. He left her weeping on her knees.

"Plz don't leave me again Roh!" She cried nd opened her eyes.
She found herself laying on her bed.
"So it was a dream!" She murmured.

She checked the clock nd it was 5:30 a.m. Aku was still sleeping. But she didn't wanted to sleep anymore. That dream made a heaviness to dominate her chest. Her mind felt blank.
She got down from the bed nd took out that photo of Rohan from her diary.

She was looking at his photo by holding it in her hands without realising how much time had passed.
After about half an hour, Aku came from behind.
"Aj jaldi uth gayi tu." She said while yawning.

She sat beside Ishu nd found that she was looking at his photo.

"What's the use of inflicting so much pain on yourself? Agar itna dard ho raha he to band kar apni ego ja jake baat kar usse! Maybe he too want to say you something..." She said softly.

Ishu looked at her with hopeful eyes which was filled with pain as if she wants Aku's words to come true.

"Believe me everything would be fine!" Aku again whispered blinking her eyes.

A faint smile appeared on Ishu's lips when the door bell rang.

Aku opened the door nd found Shivam standing there.

"Finally sahabzade ko yaad aa hi gayi hum logo ki! Wo bhi itni subah subah." Aku said in a dramatic manner.

He chuckled nd found Ishu sitting on the couch.

"I was coming back from morning walk. To socha ki tum logo se thoda mil ke jaun." He said while sitting beside Ishu.

He looked at her properly nd found Rohan's photo in her hand.
His smile faded.

He somehow managed to say "Tu abhi tak usko bhul nahi payi?"

"Kaise bhul payegi. Yeh mahan byekti Mumbai me bhi ho upasthit he!!" Aku said while sitting beside Ishu.

He got surprised nd asked "Rohan is in Mumbai??"

Aku told him everything about Rohan starting from the day when they first met him in Mumbai in the cafe to the  day when they last met him 12 days ago.
Shivam listened patiently till the last.

He turned towards Ishu nd made her turn toward him by holding her shoulders.
He said "I too agree with Akata. You should have a talk with him. I think he's hiding something."

Ishu looked at him with teary eyes nd nodded "Yes. I should have a talk with him. I must!"

She looked at Aku nd said "Tomorrow's his birthday. Aur hum kal hi jayenge uske pass."

Aku got startled nd asked "Hum matlab? Am I also coming with you?"

"Yes." Ishu looked back at Shivam nd ordered "You're also coming with us."

Shivam nodded his head like an obedient child.

There was a long pause. And after that Aku broke the silence "Btw Shivam, Ishu wants to know something."
Ishu gave a confusing look to her trying to guess what it can be.

"What is it?" He asked.

Aku first looked at Ishu who was cluelessly looking at her nd then turned towards Shivam.

She asked "Uss din jab hum mall me tujhse mil ke wapas aa rahe the to piche se ek ladki ne tujhko kiss aur hug kiya tha. Is she your girlfriend?"

It took Shivam two seconds to understand what she really meant.
He laughed out loud nd replied "No.. No. She's just my friend nd my co- model. Single marna to mere nasib me likha he!"

He then looked mischievously towards Ishu nd said "I can see you were really obsessed with that."

Aku nd Shivam burst out in laughter nd on the other hand Ishu started blushing like anything nd rolled her eyes to Aku.
