Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and... Rena Rouge?

Marinette stood next to Alya. Both girls were huddled in the closet - which was both metaphorically and literally. "This is so stupid, he'll find us," Marinette muttered.

"We'll be fine," the tanned girl assured. Marinette pulled out her phone and briefly pulled up her blindfold to look at the time. '9:30', it read.

"Should we step out?" Mari asked.

"If you want to." Marinette pushed open the closet door; it was barely even an inch open when they heard glass shatter.

"Please don't say I did that..." Marinette said. Alya pulled off her blindfold.

"No, somethings wrong." Marinette pulled off hers.

"How can you tell?"

"Call it a sixth sense." The brunette stepped out and ran. Marinette groaned and Tikki flew out.

"You think it's an akuma?" The kwamii asked.

"As much as I hope not, it probably is..." She slipped out quietly with Tikki back in her pocket. Using her knowledge of Alya's house from her AU (that's what she decided to start calling it), she was able to find the room where the sound came from. Moonlight peaked out of the crack and she heard voices.

"How do I know you're not lying?" someone asked.

"I-I swear on my life!" Adrien said, his voice trembling.

"Why do you need her?" Alya asked with a hesitant tone.

"So that Ladybug and Rena Rouge will come and then I can take the Ladybug and Fox Miraculous to give them to Velvet Wings. He will grant me my wish of having Marinette all to me!" If it weren't for the severity of the situation, Marinette would've laughed at 'Velvet Wings'. Honestly. it was worse than 'Hawk Moth'...

"We will bring you to her, right? Adrien?" she paused for a moment. "Just let us go..." the dark brunette moved with swift reflexes. "I wish I said was true, Don't you?" Alya quickly moved out of the way of his claw and pushed him to the ground. "Adrien, run!" He nodded and ran out the door, Marinette met eyes with Alya and ran. She bolted out the door and went up the stairs instead of down. The door to the roof flung open and she hid behind it, slamming it closed.

"Tikki! Spots on!"

As soon as Marinette ran, the victim stood up. "You lied!" They said. Their claws spread out and you could see they were sharp as knives. Her breathing became scarce and she started panicking. The only place she could escape was out the window.

'I just had to be brave! Had to go into something without thinking!' The figure slowly advanced towards her and their hair came into light. A red-orange. It was Nathaniel.

"You will no prevent me from seeing my princess."

"Your princess doesn't being to anyone!" She shuffled towards the opened window.

"Painted Fox will not relent!" He lunged for Alya and she moved quickly, jumping out the window. She braced for a painful fall but it never happened. She was caught in the arms of a certain heroine.

As the girl landed on the roof, Alya looked at her favourite hero. "Thanks, Ladybug."

"Of course. Now, I don't mean to sound rude but you should leave."

"Right, I'm sorry, I was covering for my friends-"

"Don't apologize. Your bravery is greatly appreciated." Alya nodded and turned towards the edge of the building that led to a smaller one right next to it. "I must go, please, get to safety." She used her yo-yo to swing away.
