"The Evil Queen?" Ladybug questioned. Rena Rouge shrugged.

"Honestly, I'm surprised. It's the first akuma that isn't centred around nature. Even Jack Frost revolved around ice and snow."

"And what's she going to do? Poison us?" Rena Rouge dramatically gasped.

Slowly lying down on the floor, she said in a fake raspy tone, "Oh no, I'm dying, I've been- poisoned!" Ladybug giggled, despite the accuracy.

The akuma was an older woman but she was fairly attractive. At least, that's what she looked like. But there were times where she would morph into an old woman. It was nearly miraculous how different she looked. But even so, she was slowly poisoning the citizens of Paris, placing them in a deep slumber, just like the classic Snow White tale - well, more accurately, the Disney version. The two concluded that her akuma was in a ring she wore on her finger by observing her from a safe distance. Every time she shifted into an old woman, it was covered by her cloak and considering that was the only time she interacted with other people, there wasn't much else they could say.

"I'll go get the ring from her," Red said, standing up.

"Okay, I'll stay behind you. Be careful." The brunette jumped off the roof and landed with a roll. Silent as a fox, she walked carefully behind the older woman. The Akuma's hand was lying at her side, open for the heroine to slip off the jewellery. But as soon as she reached for it...

"What do you think you're doing?" Rena stopped. The woman turned around and Rena Rouge slowly stood up, then backed up. "A brave attempt. Not that I expected much less."

"Hey, I was just wanting to leave, ya know?! Uh, so I should go, Ladybug is probably waiting for me..." When she tried to walk away, she was stopped by the Akuma's firm hand. "Fuck..." she muttered.

Ladybug watched in horror as Rena Rouge's heart was ripped from her body. There was no blood. Just her beating heart. Immediately, she tried to run up but her partner waved her back. Red wasn't in any pain. She just stood there with a guilty look on her face. "I see..." And with incredible willpower, she pulled off her ring. The heart was shoved back into the heroine's body and Ladybug was tossed the ring. She threw it on the ground and stepped on it, breaking it. After she purified the akuma and summoned the lucky charm (obviously throwing it into the sky), everything was fixed and a girl, about seventeen, stood before them.

"What-" she looked at the hero. Noticing Ladybug's worry and Rena Rouge's solemn. "Did I-?" Rena Rouge didn't say anything. Ladybug walked up to the teen and helped her up. She was taller than she thought so Ladybug had to look up.

"You didn't do anything. You were unable to control yourself. I will talk with Rena Rouge but you should head home."

"Okay... I'm sorry for anything I did." With that apology, the teen was off. Ladybug turned to her partner.

"Foxy, are you okay?" The black-haired heroine asked.

"I'm so sorry, Ladybug..." she replied.

"What are you sorry for?" Ladybug placed a gentle hand on her shoulder and looked at her face which was so full of guilt. She wouldn't even look at Ladybug with that happy and carefree face she had after an akuma.

"I- I..." Ladybug's earrings beeped and she looked at her friend.

"Look, I have to go, but we'll talk later, okay?" As she backed away Rena Rouge looked after her. She wanted to grab Ladybug's hand and tell her that she knew who she was. That she knew that she was Marinette, but she couldn't. For one, they were out in the open and another thing, they may have to give up their Miraculous'.
