"What have you done?" Astrid stares at Loki in disbelief.

"Astrid, please let me explain." He approaches Astrid but she only takes a step back fearing for the frost giants that stand before her.

"What's wrong little one? Never seen a frost giant before?" Laufey smirks at the girl shaking in front of them. Loki only glares at him to tell him to be quiet.

"You are not to bring harm to this girl. Do you understand?" Laufey was bored and just walked off. Loki grabbed Astrid and pulled her outside. "Please you need to listen to me-"

"You said that I would be safe with you! You promised me that there would be no war!" Astrid was panicking. Loki was her safe place but now she had never felt in more danger.

"Shhh, please calm down. I have a plan, to get rid of the frost giants for good. You are safe I promise you that." He held her face in his hands to make her look up at him. She wanted to believe him but she could see the darkness taking over Loki. "Now please return to your chambers until it is safe. I will come and collect you." Astrid stared at him before slowly nodding.

"Now go." Loki kissed her forehead before sending her off. As quickly as she could she vaulted onto her horse and galloped back towards the palace while Loki returned to the Bifrost to lead Laufey to Odin.

"Now, shall we get going?" Loki smirked.

Astrid ran as fast as she could to Odin and Frigga, she had to warn them, even if it meant disobeying Loki. She had to do what was right.

She got there quite quickly, she was out of breathe as she slammed through the door alerting Frigga.

"My dear, wh-"

"There's no time! Please you must leave. Laufey is on his way!" Before Frigga had much time to react Laufey entered Odins chambers.

"Astrid get behind me!" But Astrid froze not reacting to Frigga's order.

"Please don't do this." Laufey ignored Astrid's plead and swatted her like a fly to the side and she let out a grunt as her body collided to the side, knocking her unconscious. This angered Frigga as she loved Astrid dearly. She swung her sword and stikes one of the frost giants down, leaving Laufey on his own. He swats her down leaving just him and Odin. The Jotun King stands over the unconscious Odin, relishing the moment. In his hand, he forms an ice blade. Astrid began waking up slowly looking around seeing Frigga not far from her unconscious on the floor and Laufey standing over Odin. However, once again she was helpless. She hurt too much to move and she had no strength in her to do anything. She began to cry to herself quietly. Only one person came to mind... Loki. She closed her eyes hoping for her love to help.

"It's said you can still see and hear what transpires around you, even in this state. I hope it's true, so that you may know your death came by the hand of Laufey." He raises his blade above Odin's body when all of a sudden a blast of energy hits him from behind. As the Jotun king falls to the ground, Astrid opens her eyes to see Loki holding Gungnir. Loki looks over to her, and back at Laufey. He told him not to harm her... But he did and this angered Loki. The plan was to kill Laufey anyway, but this gave him more of a reason to make him suffer and finish his race for good.

"And your death came by the son of Odin." Loki fires gungnir at Laufey again to end him once and for all.

Frigga gets up as Astrid sits herself up leaning against the side. Astrid was nowhere near as strong as the others and promised herself from this day she would train to become strong like Frigga, and like Loki. Loki runs over to Astrid seeing her distraught state.
