~Time Skip~

     Loki woke up beaming with excitement. He was really looking forward to today, it was the day of Thors coronation. He was excited to see his brother become King, a little envious but he loved his brother. But he was more excited because Astrid would be returning to Asgard once again. He had decided to get up early and go collect the Princess himself from the Bifrost. He had got up out of bed and walked out of his chambers and had changed into his black leather attire.

Loki was walking down the hall to be greeted by the warriors three and Sif.

"Loki!" Loki tried to keep walking past so he can get to the stables quickly so only nodded at Volstagg.

"In a rush this morning are we?" Fandral slyly remarked. Loki suddenly stopped in his tracks and turned around to them. They knew exactly where he was going and they found it funny to see Loki like this.

"Am I not allowed to go for a morning ride?" Loki loved them all as friends but sometimes they really got in his nerves, he was never as close with them like Thor was, sometimes he felt like he was only friends with them because of his brother.

"Oh of course you are your highness, we will not stop you from seeing your maiden." Sif found it amusing for Loki to have feelings for someone. Not everyone could see it, Loki was hard to read but Sif definitely noticed some changes to him. She knew what it was like to love someone, considering she had feelings for Thor.

"There's nothing going on between us..." Loki only smiled at them trying to keep his cool and turned to continue walking towards the stables.

"There's definitely something going on." Hogun muttered under his breath thinking only the other three could hear him. They all giggled quietly even though Loki heard what he said but he didn't want to let that bother him as he only wished to see Astrid once again.

Loki had mounted his horse and made his way to the Bifrost with two other guards accompanying him.

When they reached their destination they didn't have to wait long before the King and Princess arrived in Asgard. Upon seeing their arrival Loki dismounted and walked up to the two bowing before them to greet them.

"King Frey! What a delight to have you back in Asgard." The King only smiled down and nodded at Loki approving of his greetings. Loki then walked up to Astrid.

"Princess Astrid, pleasure to have you back again." Loki bowed before her and kissed her hand. All she wanted to do was hug him tight and not let go but she couldn't in front on her father. She still had to be formal and show her respect.

"It's good to be back, your highness." Loki smiled at her before turning away to the King.

"Your majesty I have prepared you a horse to ride to the palace where you will be greeted by my father himself."

"Perfect, thank you Loki." Loki nodded at him holding his horse so the King could mount.

"Father if I may, please can I join Loki for a ride round Asgard for some sightseeing?" Astrid wanted to be alone with Loki for a while, there was still a few hours until the coronation and she knew once she got to the palace, her alone times with Loki would be limited. He looked at her a while before answering.

"Fine. But, you must be back at least an hour before the coronation." He knew exactly what was going on between them better than anyone else considering his daughter is normally always by his side and needs permission to do anything. He didn't disapprove of it either, he actually found that it could be ideal for the future for if the two were to fall in love a marry, both Asgard and Vanaheim would be stronger than ever. Not to mention he would have some control over the realm too.
