Jungwon's dream....
"Wonie wonie don't you wanna kiss me? My lips are cold?" a 7-year old Jay asked.
"No your breath stinks" Jungwon covered his nose. Jay pouted and stomped away.
"Momma, Wonie says my breath stinks"Jay pursed his lips standing infront of the kitchen's entrance.
"Well may be he's right" his mother joked "Come and help me bake some cookies for Wonie"
"No! That's too much work. I'm gonna go play" Jay was about to leave when Jungwon entered the kitchen.
"I'll help you auntie" Jungwon offered, climbing on top of the high chair. Jay let out an exxaggerated sigh.
"Fine, I'll help too" Jay sat next to Jungwon on the high chair.
The two young boys washed their hands, with Jay splatting water on Jungwon.
"Auntiee" Jungwon whined "Jongseongie's making me all dirty"
"Park Jongseong where are your manners!" his mother scolded fakely. She always enjoy watching the two bestfriends play-fight.
"But mama, Wonie's gonna have to get used to me because we are are gonna get married when we grow up!" Jay cheered loudly, his mother laughed at her son's words.
"No I'm not marrying you!" Jungwon said making Jay's smile drop "My mummy always says boys must like girls"
Jay's mom put the cookies to bake and turned to Jungwon.
"Honey, that's not true. Boys and girls are free to love whoever they want. Love has no gender" she spoke to him softly.
"But mummy always told me I need to like girls" Jungwon pointed remembering how harsh his mother spoke to him.
"It doesn't matter Jungwonie, she's your mother and she loves you very much but we are all free to love whoever we want okay?" Jungwon nodded.
"Yayy now we can get married!" Jay hugged the 5-year old.
"M'not getting married to you. You're ugly!" Jungwon teased.
"But you're a pretty bunny!" Jay hugged the boy "When I get older I'm gonna be sooo handsome" Jay failed to wink at Jungwon "You will want to marry me!" he continued proudly.
Jay's mother just laughed at the cute behaviour of her son.
"Boys, when the cookies are done I'll call you okay? You can go play now and thanks for the help you two!" she thanked, sarcastically.
Jay pulled Jungwon into his room.
"Let's play princes!" Jay jumped on the bed. Jungwon joined him.
"I'm the prince and you're my baby bunny!" Jay annouced.
"But I wanna be a prince!" Jungwon pouted "And stop calling me a bunny"
"But you look like one" Jay squished the other's face.
"Yahhh stop that!" Jungwon swatted away Jay's hand.
"Then kiss me" Jay pursed his lips, playfully. Jungwon stayed silent "Fine" Jay huffed folding his arms sitting with his back facing Jungwon.
"Aish you big baby" Jungwon went infront of Jay and pecked him on the lips.
"Happy?" Jungwon asked, face a little red from what he just did.
"Yayy my baby bunny kissed me!" Jay leaned in again but Jungwon stopped him.
"I'm gonna tell auntie if you keep doing this" Jungwon threatened, Jay just shrugged and continued playing.
Five years later, Jungwon went to Jay's house after school.
"Pretty bunny, why did you take so long?" Jay asked the younger.
"I don't know?" Jungwon replied.
"You're always so slow, bunny boy" Jay ruffled Jungwon's hair, teasing him.
"M'thirsty" Jay got up and went into the kitchen coming back with two starbucks in his hands.
"Mummy, bought this one for you but it has coffee in it" Jay frowned at the thought Jungwon might not like coffee.
"It's okay, my mom says coffee isn't good too drink coffee but don't drink alot" Jungwon grabbed the cup from Jay and sipped the Starbucks.
"OMG I LOVE THIS! IT'S YUMMY!" Jungwon jumped up from his seat, bouncing on his heals excitedly.
"It's Carrot Cake Frappuccino" Jay informed the younger, admiring how hyper he got from a sip of coffee.
Later that evening Jungwon arrived home.
"Mom!" Jungwon called, searching for his mother only to find her in the living room worn out and stressed.
"What's wrong mom?" Jungwon sat beside her, he never saw hsi mother in such a weak state.
"You're going to live with your cousin in Seoul from now on" she annouced. Jungwon was stunned at the sudden news.
"But mom, what about Jongseongie?" Jungwon didn't want to leave Jay without telling him. The thought bringing tears to his eyes.
"I don't want you near him anymore Jungwon!" his mother was serious "He's a bad influence"
"But-"
"It's final no objections. One more thing, take these pills everyday before you go to bed. When it's done I'll send more for you" Jungwon's mother gave him a bottle filled with pills.
"What's this for mom?" Jungwon asked, tears still falling.
"Remember you went for a check up at the doctor's last week?" Jungwon nodded "Well he said that you need to take these to stay healthy and strong okay? Don't miss a single day" Jungwon just looked at the bottle, sadly.
The next day, Jungwon left Gumi-si.
"Jongseongie I'm sorry for leaving without telling you, I hope you forgive me"
.
"Ahh my head hurts!" Jungwon winced at the pain. The weird dream he had flashed through his mind.
"Pretty bunny, you're awake" that voice. It can't be the same person.
"Jongseongie?"
.
