Jungwon sat at their lunch table, fingers nervously tapping against the hard wood of the table.

Jungwon and Ni-ki were supposed to meet for lunch two days ago but after the events with Jay Jungwon ditched him last minute.

Jungwon didn't have any excuse for why he ditched Ni-ki. He can't just tell him he kissed Jay and that's the reason they couldn't meet up.

"Hey baby" Ni-ki joined Jungwon, the older having the brightest smile on his face.

"H-hey" Jungwon said nervously. Ni-ki was a little too happy for Jungwon to ditch him.

"Are you okay, baby?" Ni-ki checked Jungwon's temperature "You're not sick then what's wrong?"

"I just wanted to apologize for ditching you at lunch that day" Jungwon apologized, looking down at the floor.

"Baby, it's okay I know how your mom can get sometimes" Ni-ki assumed Jungwon's mom was the reason he ditched their date.

Soon after the rest of the group joined. Jake started hanging out with the group alot over the past few weeks.

Despite, this Jay never showed. It's not like Jungwon expected Jay to even show up. Come to think of it he never saw Jay today.

Jungwon shook off the thought. He shouldn't be thinking about Jay.

"Guys Jungwon's birthday is coming up" Sunoo reminded.

"Of course our Jungwon is going to be 18" Heeseung ruffled his hair.

Honestly, Jungwon forgot about his birthday with everything that happened recently.

"So I was thinking we go sky diving for his birthday" Sunghoon suggested.

"No hyung, that's so scary" Jungwon complained.

"Movie night?" Sunoo asked.

"Too plain" Jungwon sighed. He didn't know what he wanted to do for his birthday and none of his friend's ideas were any good.

"May be I'll just ask Jay. I'm sure he knows" Heeseung teased, not aware of who Jay actually was in Jungwon's life.

Jungwon visibly tensed at the mention of Jay's name. He didn't want anything to do with him but he can't tell his friend's, they will bombard him with alot of questions.

Jungwon noticed Sunghoon looking at him skeptically, afterall he's one of Jay's close friends.

As if on queue Jay walked through the entrance of the school gates. Who shows up to school at lunchtime?

However, Jungwon noticed the puffy red eyes Jay tried his best to mask. Was Jay crying? If so Jungwon knew it wasn't anything to do with him or atleast that's what he thought.

The necklace still hung around his neck. Jay never took it off even after their agreement.

"Guys I'm not feeling well" Jungwon lied. He needed an excuse the get out of the room. Heeseung wasn't buying it. The younger made these sort of excuses everytime he wanted to get out of something.

"Jay!" Sunghoon called over. Jay made his way over to their table brushing off the girls trailing after him.

"What does Jungwon like to do?" Sunghoon popped the question, startling Jay at the sudden mention of Jungwon but he managed to keep a cold face.

Jungwon bit his lips so hard they almost bleed. He didn't want to see Jay nor did he want him to say anything.

"How would I know? We're basically strangers" Jay answered emotionless.

To say Jungwon was hurt at those words was an understatement. He shouldn't be affected by this. He and Jay are strangers, that's what Jungwon wanted, right?

As Jay left he locked eyes with Jungwon.

Ni-ki saw this and intertwined their hands together bringing Jungwon back to reality.

"Baby, tell us what you wanna do for your birthday?" Ni-ki asked, carressing his hand.

I want to be with Jay.

The sudden thought popped in Jungwon's head. He didn't want that he wanted to spend it with his friends not Jay. Why did he even think that?

Everyone looked at Jungwon waiting for his response.

"A-anything's fine" Jungwon was a mess. He got up and left with Ni-ki following him.

"Babe what's wrong? You're acting really weird lately" Ni-ki was worried for his boyfriend.

Sure, he didn't like how Jay and Jungwon looked at each other earlier, he too was hurt but he wants to be the best boyfriend for Jungwon so he decided to ignore the pain in his heart.

Jungwon plopped himself under a tree in the school's lawn. Ni-ki mimicked Jungwon, waiting for a response.

"Would you ever cheat on me Ni-ki?" Jungwon asked out of the blue. The specific question got Ni-ki worried.

"Of course not angel" Ni-ki cupped the younger's face, searching in his eyes for some sort of confirmation that his assumptions he's having isn't true but he found nothing.

No twinkle, no sparkle, no love. Jungwon doesn't look at him the way he looks at Jay. Jungwon has lost the glow he had in his eyes whenever Ni-ki entered the room.

"You're my angel, how can I do that to you?" Ni-ki lay his head on Jungwon's lap. Jungwon only hummed in response.

Far on the other side of the lawn Jungwon noticed two figures. Squinting his eyes it was Jay and some chick making out.

Before Jungwon would just ignore it but now it bothered him. How many chicks had Jay kissed before he kissed Jungwon that day in his room?

Jungwon didn't know where he got the confidence from but he pulled Ni-ki in for a kiss which the older responded.

"Jungwon..." Ni-ki pulled away. "I thought you said you were waiti-"

"I'm tired of waiting" Jungwon rushed out. He needed to move on from Jay. He feels bad because now he's just using Ni-ki to get over Jay but he needed to.

"You're so cute" Ni-ki cooed at the younger's flushed face.

"S-shut u-up" Jungwon was a bit flustered. Ni-ki loved him and he shouldn't vent on Jay who seems to be clearly enjoying his life without Jungwon.

"Up for a date?" Ni-ki asked, hopefully.

"Lunch is almost over, Ni-ki" Jungwon laughed at the older's silly suggestion.

"We can skip" Jungwon glared at Ni-ki after saying such rule-breaking words.

"Please?" Ni-ki begged, blinking his eyes while pouting.

"Fine" Jungwon agreed, one time wouldn't hurt.

Ni-ki and Jungwon ran out of the school gates, hands intertwined.

"Where are we going Ni-ki?" Jungwon asked.

"You'll see soon baby"
