Jungwon was beyond terrified. He has never been to a police station before and now he doesn't like it one bit.

They were put into a room with one table and an officer on the other side.

Jungwon grabbed Jay's hand out of instinct, squeezing it hard. Jay noticed this.

"Officer, let's get this over with. We are only college students and we would like to leave as soon as possible" Jay was serious. He didn't want Jungwon in this terrible place.

The officer complied and asked Jay and Sunghoon a series of questions relating to the recent event.

Jay was questioned about his relation to Jungwon and his mother. Jungwon was asked questiones about his childhood with Jay to which the boy stayed quiet as he couldn't remember.

"With the given evidence Jungwon's mother will be sentenced to a lifetime in prison" Jungwon gasped at the words of the officer. 

He will never see his mother again. He doesn't think she deserves this. She wouldn't hurt him.

"In addition to this, Jungwon no longer has a legal guardian and he cannot live by himself legally. Jay would you like to take him in?" the officer asked as he concludes Jay is close to Jungwon.

Jay nodded. Jungwon will be turning 18 in a few days so he can just stay at Jay's until then.

"Thank you officer, can we leave now?" Jay asked. The officer nodded and the three left.

"He's gonna crash at your place until his birthday?" Jay nodded at Sunghoon question.

"I'll explain to the group why you guys won't be at school for a few days. See you and take care of him and yourself" Sunghoon pointed at the fresh cuts on Jay's face.

After Sunghoon left Jay took Jungwon to his mom's house.

"Jongseong! Dear goodness you scared me with your text I was just about to come get you" his mother ran out, car keys in her hand.

"Help me take him inside mom and I'll explain everything" Jay and his mother took Jungwon inside who seemed lifeless.

His mother is in prison for life. His brain is a mess and he's now at someone else's home.

Jay took lay Jungwon on his bed pressing a soft kiss on his forehead before leaving.

"Park Jongseong!" his mother slapped him on his arm.

"Ouch mom you're just like Wonie" Jay pouted rubbing his arm.

"Look at your face! Come on go sit down let me help you clean those wounds" his mother rushed to get the first aid kit.

Jay explained everything to her while she cleaned his cuts.

"I always knew something was fishy about that woman. I only tolerated her because of Jungwon. She never wanted you to see Jungwon and she always rejected my offers when I asked her if you can go to their house" Jay's mother said.

"It's all over now mom let's just hope Wonie gets his memory back" Jay kissed his mother goodnight before sleeping on the couch.

Over the past few days, Jungwon's memory was slowly recovering but he hasn't told anyone yet, not even Jay.

Speaking of Jay, the latter was by his side 24/7. The simplest cough or sneeze from Jungwon had Jay running in with medicines.

Jungwon cannot deny his heart warmed at Jay's actions. Now, with his memory back he remembers Jay, everything Jay has ever done for him since they were kids.

As for Jungwon's mother, he despises her. Before he felt sorry for her but remembering everything she put him through just to forget Jay. Jungwon never wanted to see her again.

"Baby bunny, your birthday is tomorrow. Are you okay to hang out with the group?" Jay asked.

"Of course you idiot! I'm not sick or anything I'm strong and healthy" Jungwon showed Jay his best superman pose.

"And you're so cute" Jay ruffled his hair. Jungwon rolled his eyes and took out his phone only to have Jay grab it away from his clutches.

"It's 11pm Wonie. Time for bed " Jay left a kiss on Jungwon's temple before shutting off the lights putting the phone on the nightstand and left.

"He's so demanding 'jungwon don't do this' or 'jungwon you should rest' so annoying" Jungwon grumbled.

"I heard that!" Jay shouted from outside the door. Jungwon jumped.

"So what? You're annoying!" Jungwon shouted back.

Ding.

He received a text.

Ni-ki has been constantly messaging him ever since that night checking up on him.

Jungwon's phone was grabbed from him again.

"Yah Jay give it back" Jay took one glance at Jungwon's phone and scoffed throwing it back at Jungwon.

"Don't know what you see in that guy" Jay said bitterly.

"Why? Are you jealous?" Jungwon teased, not expecting Jay to be anywhere close to jealous.

Jay glared at him

"You guess"
