-EMERY'S POV-

( MIDNIGHT)

I waited for Micheal to fall asleep he suggest I take his bed and he takes the couch so I couldn't say no for nothing, I couldn't hold it in anymore , my mind keeps racing why did he throw me out so fast and the only answer was Lucas was cheating on me this whole entire time and I have such a good idea that's going to make him regret.......

( she calls her friend Charlotte)

( Charlotte answers)

Charlotte: Miss Crassus why are you calling this late

Emery: I need a favor

Charlotte: ok but are you ok:

Emery: yes but I need a gun

Charlotte: are you sure

Emery: positive

Charlotte: I know a person...

( 15 minutes later after sneaking out of Micheal's house she arrives at a motel)

(Emery knocks on motel door. It opens up to Moses, an African American southern man in his 30s who is chewing a damp cigar at the corner of his mouth.)

Moses: What can I do for you, sunshine?

Moses: What can I do for you, sunshine?

Emery: Are you Moses?

Moses: Might be, might not be.

Emery: I'm Emery, you spoke on the phone with Charlotte about the Smith and Wesson.

Moses: You were referred to me by Charlotte, that right?

Emery: Yeah, Charlotte's a good friend of mine.

Moses: That so?

Emery: Yeah kinda, I just met her, she's my assistant.

Moses: Well, alright, then.

(Moses holds door open. Emery enters the motel room.)

Moses: You ever been to Niagara Falls?

Emery: Oh, no, never.

Moses: Just got back. You should go sometime. You got a boyfriend?

Emery: actually that's what I'm here for.

Moses: ah ok, They say it's good for lovers, honeymooners but I go once a year by myself. I don't go with my wife, it's just strictly business only. Never did make much sense to me about the whole romantic bit about it. Just a Goddamn movement of water and a long way down is all. Millions of people visit the place each year and it's always the same...pointing and staring, pointing and staring and pictures. I could never understand it.

Emery: Maybe I won't go then.

Moses: Maybe you won't...I don't really give a monkey tapping a rat's ass about whether or not you've gone to the falls, sweetheart. What I do care about is if you're the police?
