Ray and Brooke had run off together to explore the house and find a good hiding spot. Neither of them had thought anything was off about the family and the house that they were running around in. Turning corners and looking into room, they hadn't found a good room or hiding spot to hide in before Grace and her family came looking for them and the other two.

They got to the end of the hallway they were running down and a large, wooden door with its paint peeling stood in front of them. Ray walked forward carefully, adjusting her purple hoodie on her shoulders. She raised her hand and slowly twisted the doorknob, and pushed the door open slowly.

Brooke walked in first, and looked at the décor. A life-sized doll sat on a white, dining table chair in the centre of the room, facing the opposite way from the two girls. Brooke walked stepped away and Ray looked into the room. They then realised that in the darkness of the room, the only thing in there was the doll on the chair.

Ray, still gripping onto the door handle, closed the door. The look of concern the two girls had on their faces made them realise that there was something strange with Grace and her family.

Brooke turned to the door on the left of the room they had just looked into. She opened the door and behind the door was a bedroom. A large closet sat in front of the bed and they decided to hide in the closet.

"Okay, what was with that room with the doll?" Brooke asked as she climbed into the closet. Ray shrugged and climbed in after, sitting opposite of Brooke. She adjusted her white skirt and tucked her knees into her chest.

"And why was it the only thing in the room?" Ray added on. She shifted over to Brooke and placed her head on her shoulder. A loud sound echoed through the house. The sound of a bell. "What was that..?"

"A bell? I guess that means the game started and they're coming to find us," Brooke said, resting her head on Ray's. "I just hope we all win and they don't find us."

A few minutes had passed and Brooke and Ray were getting bored. They had been sitting there, waiting for the door to open until Ray thought of something. "If they are coming to find us, why not hide somewhere in this room where we can duck out if someone enters the room." She looked at Brooke while lifting her head from the other's shoulder.

Brooke thought for a bit and nodded. "That makes sense, what about behind the door?"

"So when they walk in... we can run out and find somewhere else! That's a good idea!" Ray smiled. Brooke could see Ray's wide smile even in the dark.

"This is why I love you Ray." She then realised what she said and covered her face with her hands to stop Ray from seeing her red face. "I-I'm so sorry! It just slipped out!"

Ray looked at her friend and smiled gently. "It's ok. Now, let's get out of here. It's really stuffy." She stood up and opened the closet door. Ray peeked her head out and saw no one else in the room with them. She stepped out and held her hand out to help Brooke get up.

Brooke took her hand and was pulled up into Ray's arms. "What are you doing.."

"You know, I love you too Brooke," Ray said and kissed Brooke's cheek. She then walked over to the door and stood next to it, gesturing Brooke to come over. Brooke had completely frozen and her face was burning up from the kiss. After a few seconds, she walked over slowly and stood next to Ray, their hands brushing against each other.

"So, you like girls?" Brooke said softly, trying not to stutter.

"I guess, since middle school. I figured out that I was bisexual." Ray looked towards Brooke and intertwined her fingers with Brooke's. "You ready to run when this door opens?"

Brooke looked down at their hands. "Mhm."
