Nat had called the cops by the time she got to the gate and sirens were heard from a mile away. 5 cars appeared outside and 15 stepped out of the cars. About 3 of them helped Nat while the other 12 explored the house for anything.

While they were in there, they found Ray, Elise and Brooke dead, as well as around 8 other dead bodies, 7 in the basement and one in the room, the room that had the corpse dressed as a doll.

They came outside and looked at Nat. "Tell us everything."

---

Nat told the cops everything and they all looked at each other. "We've heard about this group," one cop stated, "they go to different states and kill a family in a house, become the new house owners. The youngest enrols into a school, finds some friends and brings them home. As soon as everyone is dead, they pack up and move. So far from what we've heard, this is their 9th time of this 'little routine' and you have been the first one to escape."

Nat looked at them in horror. It was exactly what Grace and her family did. "Look, it's best if you get to a hospital and get any injuries disinfected. By the looks of it, you have a nice one in your leg," a second cop pointed out, looking at her calf.

Nat nodded and was placed into one of the cars and taken to the hospital.

---

Five months, it had been five months since the accident. Nat was going to therapy to help her with what happened. She had been diagnosed with PTSD, depression and anxiety since then. Most things had been going well, except for school.

Every now and then, kids would tease Nat about what happened. About how she didn't help her friends, about how one of her best friends almost killed her. Especially, about how the new girl was a serial killer and Nat was so naïve to not realise it.

When people said that to her, Nat's heart clenched up. She badly wanted to punch them in the nose, she wanted to do what Grace did to everyone in that house, the previous owners, her friends. She wanted to make them feel what they had felt. But composure took over Nat's mind and she brushed it off, trying not to listen to anyone.

Yet, occurrences did happen to Nat. Weird ones, you might say. How weird did they get though? How weird to make Nat shake in her shoes and run home, trying not to bring up memories?

At times, over the course of the five months from the accident, Nat would see Grace in dark alleyways as hallucinations from the PTSD. Though, what Nat saw was too real to be a hallucination.
