"......" Xuan Wanshan silently followed her disciple around with a poker face.

"I have already seen a Phoenix getting beat, what else can possibly shock me?" She tells herself.

The Clan Head of the Feng Clan? What is he compared to a real Phoenix? Even if another Phoenix somehow shows up, she will still not be surprised.

"This is a good way to train my heart... Just let my disciple shock me until I can no longer be shocked at his actions..."

To train one's heart is harder than training one's soul.

A Soul may be extremely hard to train, but there are Soul Cultivation Techniques out there to help them, making it easier. However, Cultivation Techniques for the heart is extremely rare. Even if you had one, it would still be extremely hard to train the heart.

Training one's Soul involves in training their Mental strength, such as strengthening their Willpower or sharpen their mind, helping them to see through illusions easier.

However, the heart is not something that can be trained so easily, especially if one has an Internal Demon.

An Internal Demon is also known as the Heart Devil, is Human's negative emotions or a mental barrier that will ultimately affect one's health or training. Let's say there is a talented Cultivator known for being a genius. This genius has always been doing good with no setbacks, always winning his duels. However, one day he loses for the first time in his life, even beaten to the point of almost becoming crippled. This setback of losing for the first time in his life will plant a seed deep into his heart. With this stress of his, how will he be able to Cultivate peacefully? One can also get a Heart Devil from experiencing a traumatic event, such as being abused by others since young. Now when the time comes for them to breakthrough, which needs the individual to have a stable mind, it will be less likely for him to break through in an unstable mind.

Xuan Wanshan can tell that her heart is growing stronger and stronger due to her disciple, who is always throwing her emotions around. One second it was concern, then the next second it was happiness, but not even a second later it turns into shock.

"If this continues, I will probably be calm even if the sky splits in half..." She keeps thinking to herself, "Is this a good thing or a bad thing?"

She looks at the disciple next to her whose face was so peaceful that makes people wonder if he has ever experienced something unpleasant...

"We're here." Tian Yi wakes her up.

She looks around to see many servants running back and forth, some carrying tables, and some carrying chairs.

"Excuse me, do you know who has the setup plans for this banquet?" Tian Yi asks some random servant passing by.

"The setup plans? The Head Servant should have it." Saying that he went right back to work.

Tian Yi looks around, then he sees a middle-aged man holding a stack of papers in his left hand, and with his right hand, he was pointing at people with his mouth moving nonstop.

"It's probably him." He thought and walked up to him.

"Excuse me, are you the Head Servant?" He asks him from behind.

"Of course I am, who the—" The head servant turns around, almost cursing at whoever it was bothering him from working. But he stops the moment he sees this group of 3, remembering that they were right behind the Ancestor!

"A-ah, I apologize for my rude behavior, who am I speaking to?" He apologizes to this group.

"I am Tian Yi, Outer Court Disciple of the Profound Dragon Spirit Sect, and I am here to help out the Feng Clan with the banquet setup. Can I see the setup plans so I can finish this up?" Tian Yi introduces himself, along with the reason why he called for him.
