Chapter 59 - Divine Flames

Inside a spacious room, Meng Xiang was sitting on the bed, "Big Brother, where did Yan Yan go?" She asked Tian Yi who was currently creating formations around the room, making sure that it is working properly.

The moment they went outside the Xuan House, Yan Yan flew away and had yet to come back.

"Oh, her? I sent her to do some scouting. She should be back tomorrow." Tian Yi said nonchalantly.

After another moment, Tian Yi nods to himself, "Un. This formation should be good enough. Now nothing will get out by accident."

"Meng Xiang, come over here." Tian Yi said.

"Yes, Big Brother!" Jumping down from the bed, Meng Xiang walked to the middle of the room and stood in front of Tian Yi.

Tian Yi looks down at her with a serious face, and said, "Meng Xiang, are you sure that you want to learn how to brew tea? I do not know how to brew tea the normal way, so I will be teaching you to brew tea the way I like it."

"Un. I want to learn!" She nods vigorously.

"Good, then watch carefully. Bring out your Taintless Jade Cauldron." Tian Yi said.

"Here you go Big Brother." Meng Xiang takes out the Taintless Jade Cauldron and hands it to him.

"First, you make it around this size." He changed the Cauldron's size to be about the same as a regular teapot.

"Second, you add in some water." He points to the Cauldron, and then water materializes inside the Cauldron.

"Next, you throw in some tea leaves. For this example, I will be using Jasmine Tea because it is my favorite. Keep in mind that the amount of tea leaves you put in will determine how strong or weak the tea will become." He threw some Jasmine Tea leaves into the Taintless Jade Cauldron and closed the lid.

"Okay, this is the most important part, the flames that you will be using to boil the water. The control over of your flames will determine how the tea will taste, so be careful not to make it too hot or too weak." Putting the Cauldron on top of his palm, golden flames flares out of his palm and starts boiling the water.

"..." Meng Xiang watched intensively, afraid to miss a single detail.

A few minutes later, the golden flames disappears, and Tian Yi opens the lid, releasing a very fresh jasmine blossoms aroma filling the whole room in seconds.

"Although it may be too hot for you to brew tea with your empty hands right now, you can do it on something for now." Tian Yi said to Meng Xiang.

"Any questions?"

"... Big Brother, how do you make flames appear out of your hands?" Meng Xiang asked the most obvious question because she does not have any Divine Flames inside her body!

"That is the next part. Meng Xiang, I have many different kinds of Divine Flame for you to choose. However, before I let you pick, you have to do something for me." Tian Yi said with a serious voice.

Seeing how her Big Brother was so serious, Meng Xiang copied him by making a serious face, but failed to and made a funny looking face instead, "I will do anything for Big Brother!"

"Good, then listen carefully. Meng Xiang, right now, you are not officially my Personal Servant yet!" Tian Yi said.

"Ah?!' Meng Xiang could not believe her ears. She was not his Personal Servant yet?!

"B-Big Brother, are you abandoning me?" Her eyes start to tear up. Did this mean that Tian Yi has yet to accept her as his Personal Servant? Because she is useless?
