A note from BaiSiwa

The sun was only halfway up, its sunlight illuminating the entire world.

Han Yixue was currently sitting with her legs crossed in the courtyard, listening to the movements of green grass being blown by the morning breeze.

Her beautiful eyes were wide open, staring into the darkness in front of her. The darkness was a pair of eyes, its depth deeper than the dark abyss. Inside the darkness, flickering lights like the stars in the midnight sky could be seen.

'I never noticed Master's eyes were this beautiful and profound...' she said to herself.

His eyes were normal at glance, yet if one were to take a deeper look, they could see an entire universe beneath it shrouded with mysterious meanings.

Han Yixue has been staring into this darkness for many hours now, yet she was not able to understand anything. It felt like she was sealed within a room with ancient languages written on the wall, and the only way to get out was to decipher these ancient words with no clues!

Han Yixue closed her eyes, "Sorry, Master, I was unable to understand anything. I have wasted Master's time..." she said, her voice was filled with disappointment.

Tian Yi smiled, "There is no need to feel depressed over something so insignificant. You may not understand it one day or even an entire year, but there will be one day where you will, and when that time comes, you will be one of the main pillars that will uphold Heaven, overseeing all living beings," he encouraged her.

Even though Han Yixue has a pair of unique eyes, her talent and cultivation were only mediocre. If someone like her was able to see through his eyes in only a few hours, then why was she still a Mortal? Forget about a True God, even a Celestial God will not be able to fully see through the profoundness within his eyes!

"My objective this time was to let you get comfortable. We will be doing this a lot more in the future, with me guiding you properly, of course," said Tian Yi.

"Yes, Master!" she said, her voice filled with enthusiasm.

"Good," Tian Yi nodded, and he looked to the sun, "It's almost morning. Yu Yue should be making breakfast right now, let's end our training here; we will continue tonight," he said.

They both got up and walked into the house.

Han Yixue went to wash herself while Tian Yi went towards the kitchen.

Smelling the mouth-watering aroma in the air, he smiled unknowingly.

Standing outside of the door, Tian Yi silently watches the figure standing in front of the stove.

Yu Yue stood there, her hair tied up into a bun. Her slender arms were moving left and right at a quick pace, clearly experienced at whatever she was doing. She had a serious expression on her face, looking very focused on her work.

The smile on Tian Yi's face became wider, and he went inside the kitchen.

Yu Yue dropped whatever she was preparing to turn around, and bowed, "Good morning, Master. Breakfast is almost ready," she said.

"Good morning, Yu Yue. You can ignore me and continue with whatever you were doing. I am only here to watch," he spoke as he walked closer to her.

Yu Yue nodded and continued to cook.

Tian Yi stood a few feet away from her and watched her cook.

"How is it? Are you feeling more comfortable cooking Mortal food?" he suddenly asked her.
