After Miraak and Ammra spent the time under the starry night sky, a few days later Ammra decided to free herself from the wolf spirit. She wanted to put meeting Alduin as first priority but Miraak told her he was not ready yet. Therefore, Ammra occupied herself with another thing.

The first Dragonborn forbade her to go alone and, of course, didn't allow any other Ysgramor-related man to accompany her—especially Vilkas. He still hated the idea of how he harbored feeling for Ammra. (Meanwhile Vilkas in Jorrvaskr starting to make his move on Ria: "Achoo!") So, to make sure Ammra remembered that he was still in charge and could take control on some occasion, Miraak deliberately allowed Ammra to take him.

"Why don't you just say you want to come with me in the first place?!" she scowled.

"I didn't." his pride kept him from saying the truth. "I respect your personal matter and merely offer you assistance without being intrusive."

If Miraak was anything, he was persuasive. But Ammra could see it was only his play on words to make sure there was no one but him to protect her. It was so childish of him but it somewhat made her melt.

"Fine." Ammra finally said. "We go on foot." When she saw he was about to protest, she quickly added, "We walk on foot or I go with my shield-brother." This time Ammra won.

Taking a long journey on foot was much better compared to knowing she would go with someone else. Why she insisted, was a mystery for him. He did ask the reason, but Ammra just showed her mischievous grin while saying, "You'll see."

From Whiterun to Ysgramor tomb, they passed some intersections, turns, and roads. However, there were numerous surprise-quick kisses that Miraak got on his cheeks. He didn't know that the only reason why Ammra chose to go on foot was to cherish the last moment she could hear his heart beating fast as she gave the kisses.

Meanwhile, Skyrim was unforgiving land. During their journey, both Dragonborns were facing some obstacles but managed to shake them off effortlessly. However, this journey was the reason why I had an idea to interview both of our beloved Dovakiin regarding crossing the road.

This guide of how to cross the street is based on their real experience. Since their concept and our concept are partially the same, I will begin first by restating how normal people cross the street then move to how Ammra did it, then lastly, describe Miraak's way.

How Normal People Cross the Road:

Normally we use our senses. We use STOP-LOOK- LISTEN-THINK concept.

Step1: Find a safe place to cross

Step2: STOP at the kerb

Step3: LOOK right

Step4: LOOK left

Step5: LOOK right again

Step6: If the road is clear, cross – don't run!

Step7: Keep LOOKing and LISTENing for traffic as you cross. Concentrate!

How Ammra Cross the Road in Skyrim:

Remember, no traffic light in Skyrim. Most of the road is in the open space like meadow or grassland—sometimes no road at all.

Let's try to stick with STOP-LOOK- LISTEN-THINK concept.

Step1: LOOK for the place you want to cross; an open plane for example.

Step2: Tread casually, THINK and mind your own business.

Step3: Suddenly STOP when you LISTEN someone exclaimed: "Never should have come here!"

Step4: THINK! Quickly think of a way to deal with them!!!

Step5: Fight and survive! (Use paralyzing hidden blade. Avoid killing if possible.)

Step6: Continue Step2, tread casually and mind your own business.

Note from Ammra to you: Sometimes Step3, Step4, and Step5 take place repeatedly. That's okay. Just keep walking until you reach the other end of the place you want to cross. Good luck!  :-D

Finally, Miraak...

How Miraak Cross the Road:

What are you pathetic mortals talking about?! Meh. He is riding a dragon. No one gets in his way.

The younger Dragonborn sat while leaning against the Word Wall above the Ysgramor's tomb after cleansing herself from the wolf spirit. After Ammra was no longer in possession of Divines orb, Hircine's grip on her drastically loosened. But even so, the fight between her and the wolf was tiring.

Miraak felt how she slumped to his side. The first Dragonborn knew well how tired she was. Getting rid of Hircine's mark was never an ordinary matter. He thought she might pass out but he heard her let out a relieved breath.

"Thanks for coming with me." She told him. "Actually, I was planning to come here alone. I would have laid on this snow alone and sleeping if I had done it." She chuckled wryly.

Miraak did not respond, instead just using one of his hands to pet her head.

Meanwhile, Ammra slowly fell asleep while her mind wandering far. "Kodlak, can you see us now?" she thought. "You convinced me to find out about this man. You even encourage me to continue my project. Without you, I won't meet this man. Look at him now. He's with me."

Few minutes passed in silence as she was sleeping. Now that Ammra no longer had the beast blood, her sense became less sharp when detecting enemies. Perhaps it would also affect her speed in combat. If he was the old Miraak, this thing would please him. However, he had changed. The fact that Ammra was no longer a werewolf only encouraged him to safeguard her more.

Not that he underestimated her. Never. He just instinctively became so protective and he did not mind it at all and blamed his dragon side.

Ammra slightly twisted and sat up. She yawned then stretched. "Let's go home. I'm hungry and I need a warm bath." Her half-sleepy voiced chided. "I'll call Odahviing this time."

He landed a gentle kiss on her forehead. "Good decision. I want to see you rest soon." He made his way to embrace her. "I'll be by your side tonight to make sure everything is alright. That Daedric prince might still try to keep you under his wing."

Even without her werewolf sense, Ammra could hear her own heart beating fast. His words were final. If Miraak was anything, he was persuasive.
