Chapter 20

Camila Pov

The world is spinning around me. I don't know if it's the world or if it's my head, Suddenly everything's turning skeptical. It moves in a slow motion that my ear's just basically lose it's ability to hear any noise around us. It's only echoing, lingering in my mind, My eyes focused on my woman lying down, gripping her side in affliction, pleading the cluster of fuckers to stop beating her.

They are all laughing, there are five  people around us, the two holding other girl to the side blind folded, and have something on her mouth that denying her to speak. ' I'm sure it's dinah ' doing her best to break out.  the one holding the phone near me recording everything that's happening. The guy that kicked lauren have a gun and the last one holding a baseball bat covered with blood. Both positioned in lauren's side

I couldn't move! My body and mind is temporarily incapacitated. I'm so incapable enduring this kind of sight, " lauren!! " i said so desperately. There ain't no leniency anymore!. There's a pure anger coagulating on my blood burning down on my system sending chills to the outside. In an instant i tightened my grip to the bat. I can't even feel the weight of anything at all.

With all the forced i can provide i smashed his neck hard with my baseball bat, the phone he uses for recording flipped away somewhere. Not caring if that would suffice to paralyzed him or not. I run towards the other guy holding a gun swinging my bat on his left ear following another hit on his private area i felt some blood splatter on my face and my clothes. Hit him again on his wrist. He groaned in pain and looses his hold to the trigger. I immediately grab the gun pointing it out to the other guy who holds the bat.

He was so shocked i can see in his facial expression " M-ma'am
Cam-Camila ?"  he said recognizing me. So now i know who did this to her! Why am i even acting like i don't know!! Of course it's him!!!  I waste no time pulling the trigger and it hit him straight to his forehead another on his chest i walked closely to him and shot his right eye, firing another two shots for his head.

I see red, All red....

I pointed the gun alternately to the two guys left. They look appalled, frightened, still on shocked, covering their own body with dinah's.  I heard a barraging steps coming from my behind " Mila! "  normani said covering his mouth with her hand not believing on anything she witness.

I didn't lose my gazed to the two fucker neither my pointed gun towards them till the guards supressed them and put them in handcuff.  They let dinah go and the guard forced them to face down the floor. I walked to them with my bat and strike the guy on his side. The guards shouting at me to stop but i just can't find any reason to care. " Shut up!! " i said hitting the last guy on his shoulder repeatedly! Releasing all my anger! Till my body goes weak and tired i felt a hand  hug me from behind. My body stiffened for a bit causes me to turn around in an instant to know who it is
" Stop!! Please stop!! " normani said crying while looking me in the eyes pleading me to stop.

I removed her hands on me and walked closely to lauren, i break down next to her she passed out, i lifted her head up to rest comfortably on my lap removing few strand of her hair away to see her face. Kissing her on her forehead " i almost lost you " i mumbled to myself.  Relieved that she's still breathing but i can't handle the fact that she almost, Almost got killed!! I wiped her fresh tears with my shivering hand caressing her face gently. Making sure to not hurt her.. I kissed her again clasping my hand to her.

I stayed beside her till the ambulance arrived taking lauren from me, the rest of us get back to lauren's house
" Mila you sure you don't want to get checked too ? " normani said handing me a towel to clean up.

" I am not physically hurt mani, it's not me they beat! " i  said grasping the towel she gave me and start to wipe my bloody face with it. Dinah's been outside probably sober now talking to the police and the investigator collecting every information they can get.

Like they're not a puppet for my husband.. I'm sure they're only here to find out if they succesfully did kill lauren or am i there to see what's happening... From the beggining it was him! He did this! Explaining why we can't reach the subdivisions office at the first place!! They are ready for this! They planned for it! They did come a hold for the thought that we may get to find them first before them!

" She will be fine mila trust me, you can relax now " she said dragging the other chair to sit with me, pouring a glass of water for the both of us.

" Where is dinah? Did they hurt her too? "

" They did but not much, just enough to knock her down so they can put the blindfold and hold her, she said she heard them say the order is only for lauren leave the other one behind, you think rado did this? " she asks.

" Who else mani!! He is the suspect!! And of course it won't matter how much we knew it was him! Cause he holds everything on his finger! It was the same history! Repeating itself!! I'm telling you! I'm ending him! At all cost i will end him! "

Normani hugged me tightly and console me for a minute, i finally relaxed myself a bit. I need to regain myself, this is the game he's offering me, i should play this all in! I can't let this happen again. I just can't.

" I didn't know you still have it in you mila, even in running and all the decision you make in emergency it shows "

" Don't say it like you didn't see me fighting more than five worthless people mani, and i am really not proud of this, the situation ask for it, it's my reflexes do the job... I loose it all mani, i reached my high... I can't control it anymore... I burried this side of me a long time ago... I choose to suffer... Not fighting cause it will only cost me a lot, i will only bring damage, tragedy to the people i love, and i'm sick of it... But it still happening.. No matter how i tried to stay low-key... No matter how hard i try to push this curse away from me... It will always come back... He mess around and left me with nothing to lose but to fight, to put an end to this, and i will "

" I will always be here for you mila, We will always be here for you... But don't stress yourself so much okay.. I'm still glad you can finally got the hold in your attack... You didn't pass out... But uhmmm.. I don't know the only thing that will keep you from not passing out is the will to kill those pigs, so i'm not quite sure if its good or not... " she said expressing herself confused for her statement. We both chuckle a little bit.

" Rest mila, i'm gonna go attend to dinah, and ask for the police to continue the interview tomorrow, it's been a long night we need to rest "

I got up to lauren's room and take a shower, cleaning my whole body up, and change for her some sweatpants and tshirt... Slamming my body to her bed, her scent lives in every fiber of her cover sheets, i hugged one pillow to the side and closed my eyes, i am so tired. I miss her... Would she be alright in the hospital right now? Should i go there? But if i go there rado will think more of lauren... He will make her his center of attention and reason for any psychopathic idea he will have... And i can't let that happen again ... Besides her sister is on her way to the hospital... She will be fine.. I feel so warm and light headed, slumber must've taken me in any second...
