Normani Pov

Babe: Babe i'm cumin, Hahaha, i mean we comin der, am with laura.

I'm starting to get worried, where the hell these two are?. She texted mo for 3 hours now the bar is closing already.

I've been trying to call her every break we had. I even ask ana to keep dialing on her break too..i called laurens maid to check if they are there and she said they've already left almost 4 hours ago and they have left without the car! How can they get here!!

The thoughts rambling in my head for pete's sake! If i'm gonna think for the worst.. I'm just gonna panicked and  if i'm panicking i can't think straight! Should i call the police? That's an option but it'll still take time for them to work. Fucking 24 hours policy.

If the people were kidnap to rape! They've been raped already! The only thing they're only gonna find is the victim's body! Floating somewhere!

I walk down the studio to find camila  fixing the handle of the microphone after packing up the instruments we used.

" Mila, i can't still contact dinah and lauren. They should've been here past hours ago. What should we do? I know dinah, if she said she come here.. Either she is on her way or on your side already. And if the plan changes she will text me.. Now nothing "

Camila Pov

" ....Now nothing " normani said worriedly.

" What? Even lauren? " I put down the microphone and the tools to the side.
" okay, don't panic, it's fine.. Uhmm. Let's go to lauren's hous-"

" but i've already called her maid and she said they've left almost 4 hours ago... Arrg!! I don't know what to do! They're drunk camila! And they left without the car! So let's assumed they've taken an uber or bus! So what if something happens to the bus? Or they're in accident? " she said panicking.

Okay, okay.. Camila inhale exhale! Don't let it get to you! One is already panicking you can't let yourself do the same! Someone needs to think straight! Lauren need you. . Come on!! Think!! Think!!

" Let's go to lauren's house! " i said " If the maid is right,  that they left without the car, we can go to the subdivision's office and ask for the cctv. Every street they have one for safety.. We can use that to know what are they wearing and if they did call an uber we can find the plate number... We can get any information we need.. We need all the cctv record from there street on the way out  4 hours ago or so. You do have a car right? Come on let's go! " i said leaving everything there and pull normani out of the building, we run fast the parking lot and i ask for her keys.. I'm gonna drive.. Cause i don't think normani is in the right state for that... You can do this camila!! Lauren needs you... You can't afford any delay!..

I'm trying my best to keep my composure in linr. Pushing away the thoughts that might get me near to my attack! Focusing on the road and gettin all my driver skills as fast as i can. " Mani, do you have any weapon in here " i checked the gloved compartment for any weapon we can used just in case

" Weapon, What? You mean a gun or a knife? Why would i have something like that in my car? You mean we gonna need that now?! Camila you're making me nervous!! " she said

I can see her nervous state on my peripheral vision, i hold her hand to calm her down " Mani we need something. We don't know what's happening we should be prepared! "

" I, uhh i have a baseball bat in the back.. It's my cousin's left in there would that help? "

" Seriously a baseball bat? What are we finding here a thief on a night time coming for some car, dog and any jewelry around ? We are not john wick normani! We cannot kill people with pencil! "

" Not everyone have a gun around too camila! We are not like your husband!  Who carry something like its a phone!  And please don't say things like people getting killed! I'm getting dizzy! "

Shit!! I guess, it's better to have something than nothing! " Please be fine! Pleaseee!! "

In less than 10 minutes we parked in front of lauren's house. I got out first normani behind me. I quickly get inside and abd check laurens room and and bathroom. Nothing.
I go to the balcony i off the music playing and i saw lauren phone under the chair.

Dang it! Now she don't have her phone with her! I checked around and i didn't find dinah's phone.. Now that's good news right...

At least if they are fine they can find ways to contact us. I got out and talk to the maid to contact the subdivision manager.

She keeps trying to reach them but it won't connect. Somethings really happening in here.

I go out of the house to the pool.. No trace.. To the car.. Outside the gate... I  looked for any cctv and i find out that they have one in front of the gate

I ask the maid to review the record and  show it to me,

In the record video..I see lauren and dinah walked outside pushing each other clearly wasted laughing and saying things to each other. They go to the right direction of the road. i watched the video till their appearance is not vissible to the camera.

I run fast outside holding the baseball bat and my phone's flashlight to help me see my way.

Few blocks still nothing... I can hear normani and the few guy running after me. I'm assuming it's lauren's guard..  They get alarmed after we ask for the cctv and ask questions about lauren.

Few more blocks i saw a group of people standing on the side of the car they're all wearing a black suit and a clown mask. I run as fast as i could
" Shit!! Shit!! I should've taken the guards gun!! " i'm getting closer to the group to see, that they hitting someone up!

My body weakened in it's pace.. All i can focus my eyes on is the girl they're beating. As i get more closer. Shivers running down my spine. No, no, no, it can't be! Please! The girl is laying down, face to the ground. Helplessly, Coughing.. There's blood everywhere. The guy on her left side kick her to the side to lie her back down. My heart keeps on skipping every second!! She rolled around to the side and curl her body into a ball.

And my nightmare slap me down to the face  " LAUREN!!!"
