"We have no information! All we know is we got stuck here after a convention! How the hell are we supposed to get out of this one?!" This loud shout came from the nervous Shane whom, along with everyone else, was panicking.
"Death is always an efficient way out." The radio suggested happily.
"Shut it!" Shane growled, giving a glare that could kill.
"Shane, flipping your shit isn't going to help anything." Felix commented, looking over to his brunette friend.
"What else are we supposed to do? We're completely fucked." Shane grunted. He plopped down onto the ground hopelessly.
"Cry is still coming, and he seems to know what happened before we all went unconscious. There's a little bit of hope, at least." Felix sighed. He really didn't have much else of an argument.
"For all you morons know, he was already caught and killed by my security measures." The radio pointed out in a tone so casual it was nearly a hum.
"Shut the hell up!" It was Felix's turn to rebel.
The Swede ran a hand through his blonde locks, letting out a huff of air. He reached into his pocket, pulling out Cry's phone. He never had gotten the chance to return the object. He pressed the button, revealing the picture that apparently had been taken before, well, shit hit the fan. Damn, did he wish they could go back to the unknown time that was in this picture. Only by a new look did he notice the camera in Joey hand where he could be seen in the background. The picture must have been taken as Joey was filming his vlog they had all witnessed in the video room.
Dammit, Cry. Where the hell are you? Felix thought to himself.
"Felix! Look out!"
"Move!"
Joey and Phil both seemed to shout out at the same time, confusing the blonde. He merely raised an eyebrow in Phil's general direction, seeing as he was the one to more capture the Swede's attention.
Felix suddenly felt a sprinkle of what felt like dust fall upon him from above. He looked upwards, seeing what was causing the sensation. Dust was fluttering down from a spot in the ceiling where it seemed to be splitting in two.
Then, all at once, the ceiling collapsed, and bits of cement came raining down upon Felix. He let out a scream, though through the screams of the others in the room and whatever was falling among the fragments he was somewhat drowned out.
One of the larger chunks of cement inevitably nailed Felix.
Directly on the head.
He fell to the ground with a thud. His vision began to get blotchy, black spots floating around various places. The pain was unbearable, stinging in not only the area of the impact, but his entire body.
"Dammit!" The curse originating from the electronic in the room pierced Felix's ears, making them ring uncontrollably.
However, it seemed as though his prayers had been answered. Just before falling completely unconscious, the Swede was able to see the very masked man he had been wondering about.
...
Felix was no longer in the trial room either, but in the middle of the entrance hall.
"Hey, Cry! What's up, bro?" He asked his friend a way across the from him.
"Hey Pewds." Cry replied.
"This is so impressive. I can't believe you actually managed to build this place." Felix himself replied, once again not being able to control what was going on. It was as if he was merely observing his own actions.
He turned his head, allowing him to see his surroundings. Around the entrance hall were multiple other people he recognized including those he recognized such as Ken Morrison, Mark Fischbach, Sean McLoughlin, Anthony Padilla, and Ian Hecox. Then there were those he only barely recognized from being big on YouTube such as Tyler Oakley, Joey Graceffa, Miranda Sings, the guy from Jacksfilms, Jack Douglass was possibly his full name? These were the only people here now, as all the fans had been kicked out for the sleepover portion of the convention.
Felix turned his head back to face Cry, whom began to reply. "I didn't really do anything. All I did was give YouTube an idea and a little a bit of computer-y stuff." He said with a small shrug.
"Don't give yourself such little credit! The computer-y stuff is what's gonna gonna us when the world suddenly ends." Felix argued with a small chuckle.
"You don't actually believe in all that, do you?" Cry questioned the blonde, laughing in return.
"Hell no. But stopping that imaginary meteor is the only way they would let us have this whole convention, and this place is pretty cool. I still can't believe you organized a 'YouTuber sleepover' though." Felix joked lightly.
"Actually, I didn't come up with that part. I'm pretty sure YouTube did." Cry denied with a shrug.
"Really? They said you recommended it." Felix questioned.
"They said that about a lot of things. They keep saying I sent them a bunch of E-mails, even though I never did. They built rooms onto this place I didn't even know about until it was too late to say anything about it." Cry explained.
"That's...really fucking weird." Felix commented, a small frown on his face.
"Yeah." Cry agreed.
"Hey guys, let's get a picture of the happy couple!" A new voice joined them. It belonged to none other than Toby Turner, whom had his phone out to share everything going on to the world of Instagram.
"Sure." Felix chuckled.
"Uh...take one with my phone instead?" Cry suggested, feeling somewhat camera shy. He took his phone out of his pocket, handing it over to the other man.
Toby slid open the camera feature, taking a picture just after Felix had decided to cling to Cry, propping a leg up against him. Toby chuckled lightly, handing the phone back to its rightful owner.
"So, is the hero of the convention going to give a speech to start off the night?" The brunette asked of the masked man.
"Well, uh-" Cry tried to refuse, but Felix spoke up for him.
"Hey! The big guy's gonna give a speech!" The blonde screeched out, gaining the attention of the entire room.
Just before Cry could even open his mouth, the ear-piercing noise of a microphone getting to close to a speaker rang out. The building began shaking, causing everyone to eventually fall down to the ground. Following after, a long, maniacal laughter rang out through the speakers around the room.
"What's going on?!" Cry shouted, trying to speak above the noise.
"That would be the meteor, my moronic creator!" A robotic sounding, yet full of emotion voice replied. Simultaneously, the steel plates around the building slammed shut, locking everyone inside, and everyone else outside.
"What the hell?! Who said that?" Cry questioned, looking around to find the source.
"I'm the most Maniacal And Devious virus you'll ever face! Otherwise known as the MAD virus." The voice introduced itself.
"You were in my computer program to protect this place?!" Cry asked, shocked.
"Correct! You said you wanted to create games, so I thought I'd include the best one of all: Survival." The so-called MAD virus shouted.
At this point, the shaking around and the noises were too much for Felix to handle, causing him to ultimately go unconscious.
...Felix rocketed upwards, sending bits of dust and cement flying across the room.
"I know what happened!"
