"Alright, Mark, tell me what happened between you and Jon."
In front of Felix was none other than his old friend, Mark Fischbach, otherwise known as Markiplier.
"I told you exactly what happened. There were only three of us left. Me, Jon, and Jack. You know, Septiceye? Sean? He said he knew you. Anyways, Jon went crazy! He murdered Jack so he could save himself. I saw him, and I tried to run to the trial room so he'd be taken into punishment, but he knocked me out. I guess he thought I was dead. But then I woke up in that room. And there was food and water so I could live, but I couldn't get out, then before I could figure out what was going on, I'd be knocked unconscious again. To be honest, I don't have a ding-dong damn clue what's going on anymore." Mark explained, speaking quickly.
"Huh. Well, Jon told a completely different story. He says that there were only two of you, and you killed yourself trying to kill him, but the radio guy saved your life." Felix recalled Jon's story, which had seemed perfectly believable before finding Mark.
"That's bullshit! I wouldn't do that! Come on, Felix, you know he's lying!" Mark pleaded to the Swedish man.
Felix sat silent for a moment, unsure of how to respond. On one hand, he did know Mark, while he didn't have a clue on who Jon was, so it was probably more likely that Mark was telling the truth. On the other hand, this building was a hot spot for insanity to be sparked, so it's possible Mark really did just go crazy, and maybe even still is. He was always good at lying. After a deep breath, the blonde male spoke again.
"I trust you, Mark."
Felix wasn't really certain whether this was the truth or not, but it was certainly the only correct thing to say at the moment.
"Thanks Felix." Mark said with a grin. "So, what did happen with you and the others?"
And so Felix went off into a long story full of trials, adventures, discoveries, and most of all, death. He retold how each person died, who was still living, and who was missing in action. He also specifically went through who must be going through the most emotional trauma due to what they've gone through including Joey for witnessing Tyler's death, Phil for indirectly killing Ken and losing his friends, and Minx and Krism from causing someone to commit suicide.
Mark let out a huff of air once Felix had finished. "Alright, I got it." He commented.
"Good. Come on, why don't you show me around that room you were trapped in." Felix suggested, walking inside the room in question.
He reached for the light switch that hadn't had time to be used earlier. The room lit up, and apparently the switch had triggered a room full of glowing computer screens. Yet it wasn't the same as the other room, with dark, unused screens, dusty cameras, and various other electronics. No, this room room held nothing but wires, tapes, a microphone sitting on the desk and screens that were in use at that very moment.
In fact, looking closer, Felix could see live feed of people exploring around the building at that moment. Minx and Krism in the kitchen, Joey and Shane in one of the bedroom halls, Jon washing his face in one of the bathrooms, Phil in Dan's old room, Anthony's corpse in the hall outside, and even a view of he and Mark in that very room. All in clear view on various screens.
"Wow. Looks like some kind of control center." Mark pointed out.
"Yeah..." Felix mumbled, looking closer at the security camera in the corner that must have been displaying their picture to the screen. He began waving his hand back and forth rapidly, enjoying watching the screen struggle to follow him.
"Hey, what happened here?" Mark asked from the corner of the room, where he was staring at a pile of wires that had obviously been badly destroyed and quickly repaired.
Felix looked to the mess as well, and memories began resurfacing.
"I did it to help us all out of here! I went into that guy's little lair and broke his video feed! We can sneak up on him and get out of here!" Cry's voice rang out through his mind from the day everyone thought he was dead, but was actually working undercover.
"This is the room Cry broke the video feed in! That means this is where all the security tapes are!" Felix exclaimed.
He ran up to the screen displaying he and Mark. He used the computer mouse and rewound the tape all the way back to the beginning, then pressed fast forward so they wouldn't be watching the footage so slowly.
"If we watch the tape we can see who comes in here, and that'll tell us who's behind all of this!" Felix explained his actions to his friend.
"Felix, you're a genius!" Mark shouted, watching the screen.
The first few days, nothing happened at all. Even after two weeks, nothing. Suddenly, Felix spotted something moving. Very rarely, he could see something at the bottom of the screen move out the door then nearly immediately come back in, yet he couldn't tell what it was. Weeks later, Cry came in. Felix pushed play and watched the scene unfold.
Cry had kicked in the door. He had a very small trace of blood on his hand. He started tearing through the wires, causing the feed to go to static.
"You son of a bitch! I-"
Static.
The picture returned.
"And you tried to kill everyone! That's exactly what we were trying to stop, dammit!"
Now the video went entirely to static. The feed only returned weeks later. With the slowed speed, the thing at the bottom of the screen became more evident. It was a roll of wires. Wires. Connected to the rest of the technology. Moving. On their own.
"What the fuck...?" Felix mumbled.
A moment later, the wires returned, carrying Mark's unconscious, bloody body into the room with it.
"Uh..." Mark grunted in confusion.
A laugh could be heard somewhere in the room, but then the screen went unexpectedly to static.
"That's enough of that!" The radio's voice rang out, though there was no radio to be seen. And no one near the control room's microphone.
