"AKARI!" Kie called out.
"Yes?" Akari responded playing with Rokuta.
"Do you mind helping Tanjiro? I heard he's a little sore today and I don't want any unnecessary strain on him." Kie said.
"Sure thing!" Akari smiled and walked outside.
"Tanjiro!" She waved walking towards him.
"Huh? Akari?" Tanjiro asked putting the carrier full of coal on his back.
"You mother asked me to help! Is that okay?" She asked grabbing his hand with both of her hands.
"Sure!" He smiled squeezing her hands.
They weren't the blushy nervous type of couple. They were comfortable with each other and took good care of one another.

THEY HAD BOTH MADE IT down the mountain together hand in hand
This was the first time Akari and Tanjiro went alone.
Usually Tanjiro just went alone or Akari, Nezuko, and Takeo would help out.
But this time they were alone.
"Hello Tanjiro! I need some help! Oh? Who's this? Your girlfriend?" An old man asked.
"Ah yes. This is Akari." Tanjiro introduced.
"Hello!" Akari smiled and she did a small wave.

IT WAS GETTING DARK. But not super dark.
Tanjiro had finished selling coal and Akari was close behind him looking around.
A thing that Akari always did which Tanjiro noticed was looking at nature. Everywhere there were flowers or pretty leaves she always stopped to look at them.
"Wow! Aren't they pretty Tanjiro!" Akari said looking down at some dahlias.
"They sure are..." Tanjiro said. He smiled down at her. He loved how she always loved nature. How whenever somebody would stomp on leaves or picked at flowers just to ruin them, Akari would always come over to stop them.
She picked three flowers up. One for Nezuko, one for Hanako, and one for Miss.Kie.
"Nezuko, Hanako, and you mother will love these won't they?" Akari said showing them.
"I'm sure they will! But..." Tanjiro said grabbing another flower. "You should have one as well." He handed it over to her.
Akari cheeks turned pink. Just a little.
"Thanks!" She said as she gave him a big hug. That was another thing Tanjiro had noticed. She hugged anyone. At anytime. And they were the best hugs. He gave her a kiss on her head.
