"MORNING TAKEO." Akari said coming outside.
"Ah! Good morning Akari nee-chan!" Takeo said.
"May I help?" Akari said noticing he was getting ready to chop some wood.
"Do you know how...?" Takeo asked concerned.
Akari always had a frail body. But that doesn't mean she wasn't strong. She could pull the cart Hanako and Shigeru always went in and she could hold many things as once.
"Nope! But I can always try!" Akari said grabbing the other axe that Tanjiro usually had. "Will you teach?"
"Sure! So you need to swing it at an angle or else you will cut the tree in half!" Takeo explained. "See like this."
"Wow! Okay my turn." Akari swung the axe and hit the tree, wood coming down. "Yay! I did it!"
"Good job! That was only your first time also!" Takeo complimented.
All the children were aware that Akari was willing to try anything. She is an adventurous person. And when she did try new things she could always do it. It's like she never even tried and yet she was perfect.
"Akari!" The two heard a voice running over. "Why are you holding my axe?" Tanjiro asked.
"Look! I cut the wood!" Akari pointed at the wood she cut.
"That's great! But I'm pretty sure this is my job." Tanjiro said grabbing the axe away.
"Yeah yeah I know." Akari said.
"Oni-chan! She did it on her first try!" Takeo said.
Akari pet him on the head and he leaned into her touch.
"Wow...you're amazing Akari." Tanjiro complimented cutting the wood.
"Ewwwww!" Takeo complained.
Akari looked at Takeo but then burst into laughter.
"Takeo! You'll find love someday." Akari said pinching his cheeks.
