Melody woke up slowly her head foggy comfortable where she was the hushed argument not currently making sense to her.

'Shut up Perc, what was I meant to do?' Oliver whispered,

'I don't know but I'm not in the habit of sleeping with blackout drunks,' Percy whisper shouted back,

'Shh you're gonna wake her,' Oliver muttered leading the lad out of the room where they were met by the redhead twins who were wearing matching shit-eating smirks.

'See you went for the shag option Mr Wood,' Fred smirked,

'A fine fine choice indeed,' his brother played along.

'She fell asleep I did not shag her,' Oliver shouted at the pair looking grumpily,

'That bad at it are ya?' Lee Jordan pipped up, 'sent her to sleep?' he asked making the group laugh gaining the attention of most of the common room who weren't the happiest at the loud noises. They also gained the attention of a dishevelled looking Alex whose ears pricked, slowly making his way over to the group.

'Got one of my girls in your dorm do you Wood?' he asked with a look of concern that soon cracked into a wide grin, 'I'm going to give her so much shit,' he laughed leaving the Weasleys and Wood to stare after him as he climbed the staircase to said dormitory.

'Morning Gorgeous,' he announced sauntering into the room and ripping the blinds open, 'had a naughty night, did you?' he smirked at her which was met with a pillow being promptly thrown at his head.

Much to Melody's protests, she dragged herself out of covers which earned her even more ridicule when Alex saw Woods clothes drowning her small figure.

'Shut up let's get out of here,' Melody demanded climbing out of Oliver's joggers and pulling her jeans back on her face on fire as Alex laughed at the sight.

'Shit,' she muttered, 'I can't find my t-shirt,'

'You'll just have to wear his Gryffindor jumper all the way through the jam-packed common room,' Alex replied in what was meant to be a nonchalant voice but the grin on his face and the twinkle in his eyes revealed how much he was loving this situation.

'Alex I will not hesitate to punch you,' Melody threatened as she gathered the rest of her stuff and started to climb downstairs shoving her hair into a ponytail trying to prepare herself for the walk of shame. Much to her despair and Alex's glee Oliver was still sat near the stairs with Percy and the twins.

With her head firmly trailed onto the carpet she made her way through the common room which was starting to feel as large as the black lake.

'Nice jumper Mel,' one of the twins shouted towards her, looking up she shot a shy smile at Oliver before replying,

'Thanks, it's Eleanor's.'

'No, it's not,' Eleanor chirped in all the happier to help dig her big sister's hole, 'that's way too big for me, probably a boys as well,' she added returning her sisters glare.

'Eleanor,' the eldest Fawley sibling announced in a harsher tone than she probably should have, 'fuck off.' Alex faltered in his steps shocked at the girl's behaviour, yet she kept walking as if she paid it no mind. The portrait hole swung close as a low whistle escaped Fred's lips and a rather disgruntled expression clouded Eleanor's face.

The dull lull of conversation refilled the common room, 'Wood, a word,' the younger Fawley announced making her way over to the group of boys Harry in tow and the others watching from the sofa.

'Junior?' Oliver answered an eyebrow raised,

'Can we speak please Oliver?' Eleanor asked attempting to be polite,

'Go ahead,' he gestured towards the space in front of him, 'the floor is yours.'

'In private please Wood,' she asked her lack of patience beginning to show,

'What is it squirt anything you need tell me you can tell them,' he replied not wanting to move for some first year.

'Fine,' the girl snapped, crossing her arms over her chest and with a roll of her eyes started. 'Are you screwing my sister?' She demanded causing the boys to freeze and stare at her, the twins arched a brow at Harry who held his hands up defensively.

'I'm just here for moral support,' he mouthed at them making Percy smile slightly.

'W- w what?' Oliver stammered at the eleven-year-old,

'What's going on between you and my sister?' she asked coolly staring down the older boy.

'Nothing,' he replied a bit too quickly,

'Sure,' she rolled her eyes, 'I'm not blind Wood, ever since you two have started your whole will-they-won't-they crap she's been foul to be around.' Eleanor paused allowing the boy to speak but he was just staring at her dumbstruck. 'Sort it out will you cause I'm sick of my freaking Hufflepuff sister being the mean one.' With that, she turned on her heels and stalked away Harry sending a quick wave and following after her.

'I really like her,' George said with a low chortle as they watched Oliver, you could practically see the cogs churning in her mind.

'I don't think Melody would like her language you know,' Percy said thoughtfully after a few moments had passed earning him a scowl from Oliver.

No one at the Hufflepuff table was really talking much instead they were trying to avoid the foul looks received from Melody. If looks could kill Alex would be deep deep deep in the ground by now, not being one to pander to Melody's mood he had spent the last twenty minutes or so trying to snap her out of her grump.

'Oh for Christ sake Melody, you need to stop this, you got drunk and cuddled your crush you're acting like it's the end of the bloody world. Most people in your position would be ecstatic.' He was once again met with a rather filthy look, Cedric shot a warning look towards the other boy who was only spurred on further.

'Melody Fawley,' he shouted standing up gaining the other houses attention, 'you need to get your head out of your own arse or so help me god,'

'Mr Thorne,' Professor McGonagall cleared her throat, 'if you're quite finished,'

'Sorry Professor,' he apologised to the elderly witch before swiftly exiting the Great Hall.

'Maybe the squirt was right,' Fred said from his seat at the Gryffindor table as he watched the boy leave the room.

'Maybe she is being foul,' George mused before the pair fell back into their natural conversation.
