I am so excited to start the day because i have the whole day planned with fun stuff to do and also just because of a general feeling. To start the day i got up and already had my outfit planned, it was a brand new y/f/c dress i got tailored to fit me perfectly then my hand maid came in and brushed and put my hair up

i put all my clothes on then headed downstairs to have breakfast. we had scrambled eggs,fresh orange/apple juice,toast,sausages and chocolate chip muffins. after i was done eating i put on my riding stuff and got on my horse story. I rode to the Bridgertons house then hopped off and waited for Eloise to join me, she came around the house on her horse and i got back on mine than we raced to the park ( i won ) then we slowed down and began talking about the new stuff in our lives , ranting about our parents and recommending new books to each other when her brother Anthony interrupted our amazing conversation. he came behind Eloise on his horse and said " mother needs you at the house Eloise" we both rolled our eyes " ugh fine i'll return home, i apologize y/n i was looking forward to spending today with you." she said while putting a hand on my shoulder " it's fine now run along your mother needs you" i said smiling. after she left i let out a sigh and turned to Anthony " you really had to ruin the one day we got off. ugh so typical." i say while riding off, Anthony catches up along side me " hey i was just delivering the news and what do you mean by typical?!" he says " i mean you don't know how to have fun and so you ruin other peoples fun." i said, he just looks offended " hey i know how to have fun and i don't ruin other peoples fun." he defended, i snorted " yeah tell that to Daphne." i say riding off leaving him alone,confused and hurt.
later that day i was getting ready in my room to go to a ball the queen had invited my family to. " knock knock" i hear Eloise say " come in" i reply she opens the door and plops down on my bed. i finish putting on my blush and turn around to face her " what are you doing here?" i ask " my mothers making me attend the ball this evening... i don't even know why it's Daphne's season not mine." she says " well i know how bored you get at these things so i'll keep you company" i say smiling, she returns the smile before she says " okay well i'll let you finish getting ready i'll be in the carriage." she says getting up to leave " okay i'm almost done anyways" i say.
i finish getting ready and downstairs to get in the carriage where i thought only Eloise was waiting for me. i got in and was instantly shocked to see Anthony in there as well sitting next to me. " ugh" we both say " oh come on get along you two." Eloise says and before i can say anything Anthony says " i will if she does." while looking out the window, turn to him " oh really?!" i say "yeah" he says turning back to me, we starts bickering at the same time and it slowly gets louder and louder before Eloise says " oh will you two zip it you both clearly have feelings for one another but are both to stubborn to confess!" we both turn slowly to look at her shocked then we whip our heads around to face the opposite direction of each other looking out the window, both of our heads flooded with thoughts and questions.

we arrive at the ball and me and Eloise walk in, elbows linked. Anthony is besides me trying to look every where but at me as i just stare at the floor. as me and Eloise are walking in i can instantly feel a single pair of eyes on me i turn all around trying to see who is looking at me and i see that the pair of eyes belong to no other than lord Berbrooke. Anthony notices this and catches lord berbrooke and me making eye contact and i could've swore i saw him get a tad angry but maybe i was seeing things. i really didn't want lord berbrooke looking at me of all people so i quickly took me and Eloise somewhere else on the other side of the room. we talked for a bit before i could feel his eyes on me again and i tried to ignore it but he just kept staring. "i need some air." i told Eloise and i stepped out . i walked to the garden and sat on a bench near a bunch of blossom trees. i took a deep breath and just admired the pretty trees i closed my eyes and let the cool air calm me down. i stayed like this for a while before i heard a voice behind me. "lovely weather is it not?" said lord berbrooke. i quickly got up ignoring his question " we can't be seen alone together it would ruin my chances of finding a husband" i said " well you can stop worrying you've already found one." he said smirking and opening up his arms then he started slowly walking towards me , i backed up until i hit a wall and he got really close to me our bodies nearly touching. i felt hopeless , desperately trying to back up more. i felt his hand barely graze my thigh "please don't" i whimpered and closed my eyes preparing for what was next "HEY GET AWAY FROM HER YOU FILTHY PIECE OF SCUM!" i heard someone say and i opened my eyes to see .....ANTHONY. he ran up to lord berbrooke and grabbed him by his shirt and punching him, knocking him out. as i realize what he was going to do to me i slide down the wall with my knees to my chest and cry. this happened for only a little bit before i felt Anthony sit next to me and put a hand on my shoulder, i slowly look up to him and just stare into his eyes before jumping into his arms and he grabs on to me holding me close like if he let go he would lose me. after my crying had gone down a bit i whispered " thank you Anthony" he hugs me even more and says " i would never let anyone hurt you y/n. you know that right?" he says pulling away slowly looking at my face i nod my head yes and he presses and a kiss to my forehead... then my nose.... and then finally kisses my lips. it was a passionate but at the same time sweet and gentle kiss. we pull away slowly resting our foreheads together " y/n let me show what a real gentleman is. i want to protect you for the rest of your life...will you marry me y/n" he ask looking into my eyes " yes yes i would love to" i say softly and we share a kiss. " y/n y/n are you okay you've been gone-" Eloise freezes in her tracks staring at my and her brother than does a little spin" fina-freaking-lly!" she shouts we laugh and get up and as we're leaving she says " anyone gonna explain the knocked out guy?" we all laugh and Anthony grabs my hand and kisses it " he deserved it." he says looking into my eyes.
