I was happily strolling in the mall when I saw my ex-girlfriend… with her new lover.
“what the heck? sa dinami dami ng mall dito sa manila ditto din nila naisipan mag shopping?” I mumbled under my breathe.
I saw her. I saw Dennise again after a month. After that night we called it’s over. I thought, I’d be okay after that night kasi akala ko I’d forget her agad, but who am I kidding? I was damn wrong, fuck it! Masakit pa din pala.
And seeing her with her new lover makes me wanna cry in where I am standing right now, but it’s so embarrassing to cry in public, baka isipin nila nababaliw na ako.
The way she smiles, the way she laughs, the way she looks at her new lover, lahat yan naranasan ko sa kanya noon, bago nagbago ang lahat.
They’re walking kung saan ako nakatayo, that’s why I decided na tumalikod para hindi nila ako mapansin.
I think, ang awkward lang kasi kung ditto kami unang mag-uusap after our break-up, kasama pa yung bago niya.
“Love naman eh, stop joking na it’s corny. It’s making you annoying na.” I heard Dennise said.
Myghad her voice! Her voice made my heart skip. She still has the same effect on me.
“That was funny love. I was laughing my ass off last night when I read that joke on twitter” her new lover said. Lucky bastard.
“It was funny naman talaga when I heard it the first time, but you’ve been repeating it for the nth time love, mukha kang sira” Dennise said but then she laughed.
Ang tagal naman nila maglakad! Kanina pa ako nakatayo dito nakakangalay.
“At least I can still make you laugh. Come on, let’s eat and buy pasalubong for you teammates before I drop you sa Eliazo” her new lover replied.
I don’t know what’s the name of her new lover, and I don’t have plans of knowing it.
When they already passed by me, I looked at them.
Her new lover’s arms wrapping his arms around Dennise shoulder while the latter’s arms are around her new lover’s waist.

“What the fuck are they doing here?!” I cursed as I saw them again.
Tangina! I saw them yesterday sa mall, then ngayon, dito na naman?! Fate really likes to play huh?!
They sat on the stool at the bar counter. I saw how her new lover teases her, and her eyes disappeard because she’s laughing so hard and she slapped her new lover’s arm. Ang saya niya.
I don’t know what the hell I am doing, why I am still looking at them. Nagpunta ako dito para magpakalasing pero di ko maalis yung tingin ko sa kanila.
Her new lover is now pouting while facing Dennise, parang nagpapalambing. Dennise is shaking her head while smiling, halatang kinikilig siya. Her new lover is still pouting, parang his pleading something. Dennise did rest her hand on her new lover’s leg, and she leaned closer until their lips touched. It was quick tho, but their eyes sparkled kahit hindi ganoon kaliwanag dito sa bar.
“She’s happier with him” I whispered as I feel the pang in my chest.
