Pagpasok ko sa loob ng sasakyan, I relaxed myself because I don’t want to get into accident.
I sighed deeply before starting the engine.
I just want to go in a far place and disappeared but syempre it’s just fantasy kaya nagdrive nalang ako.
I don’t know where to go not until I remembered a place where I can go to and just scream my emotions where no one will care.
I drove their for hours because it was really far and wala masyadong mga bahay papunta doon kaya medyo creepy ang daanan.
Pagdating ko sa place, may kotse na nakapark doon and kilala ko kung sino ang may ari nun.
Dumiretso ako near the edge of the cliff because I know she was there and dang I’m right, I saw dennise, my first love crying in pain.
I walked near her but I did not disturb her. I’m just looking at her wondering why she was here and crying.
Few minutes later, she noticed na siguro na may tao kaya inangat niya ang kanyang ulo.
Tears is evident in her face and kaya I offered my handkerchief kasi punong puno ng luha ang kanya mata.
Nanlaki ang kanyang mga mata maybe because di niya inaasahan na mag ooffer ako ng panyo.
“Yuan” rinig kong sabi niya kaya pero di niya pa kinukuha ang panyo kaya I chuckled a little bit saka ginulo ang kanyang buhok.
Umupo ako sa tabi niya at ako na mismo ang nagpunas ng kanyang mga luha.
“Diba sabi ko sayo sabihin mo kung sinong umaaway sayo dahil reresbakan ko” sabi ko sa kanya habang pinupunasan ang mga luha niya kaya naman lalo siyang napaiyak sa sinabi ko.
Sinunggaban niya ako ng yakap kaya naman natumba ako at medyo napahiga sa damuhan.
Niyakap niya ako ng mahigpit kaya naman I caressed her back.
We stayed in that position for 5 minutes and I did not bother to talk because I know she will open up din naman mamaya.

Tangina naman kasi eh, minahal ko yun” she stated but she’s not crying anymore.
“Eh gago pala yang LA nayan eh. Ipinagkatiwala kita sa kanya kasi sabi niya na hindi ka niya lolokohin. Tangina” sabi ko in frustration.
Sumingkit naman bigla ang mata niya habang nakaharap sa akin.
“Ikaw, bakit ka nandito?” tanong niya pero I just stayed silent. “Sabi natin dati sa isa’t isa di tayo babalik dito kung wala tayong mga problema, so speak human” she continued.
I sighed, “I guess fate really wants to play with us” I started.
“I’m going to propose to Laura sana ngayon. Okay na ang lahat eh, siya nalang ang kulang. I’ve been calling her and she’s not answering but then I saw Von proposing to her and she said yes pa bullshit” I stated and started crying.
She held my head at sinandal iyon sa kaniyang balikat.
Nilabas ko lahat ng emotions na kanina ko pa pinipigilan ilabas.
“It’s her lost that she cheated on you” dennise said.
There’s a long silence between us, but it’s not an awkward silence but more on comfortable one.
All of the things flashbacks in my mind and I weigh all of it.
I sighed deeply before looking on dennise direction.
“Dennise” I called her.
“Hmm?” she said but di siya humarap.
Tumayo ako at kinuha ang singsing sa necklace na suot ko.
“Dennise” I called her again and this time humarap na siya sa akin.
Dahan dahan akong lumuhod kaya naman medyo napaawang ang mga labi niya.
“Remember this ring? This is our engagement ring sana but fate played on us” I started and a tear escape in her eyes, “Dennise, love, I just want you to know that hindi nawala ang pagmamahal ko sayo, Yeah I loved Laura but not as much as I love you” pinunasan ko muna ang luha sa kanyang mga mata bago ko itinaas ang singsing.
“Dennise, we’ve known each other for a long time now. You are my first love. You are the woman I really love the most next to my mom. You mold me to be a better person as I am today. You accept my imperfections and always there for me through ups and down. I’m really thankful that you came into my life” I stated and started tearing up kaya naman pinunasan niya ang luha ko gamit and kanyang kamay.
“I just want to shoot my shot love, in front of this city lights, and this special place” I continued, “Will you spend the rest of your life with me ass your husband? Will you marry me?” and there I said it.
I’m just looking at her reaction. Di ko mabasa and tumatakbo sa kanyang utak kaya naman kinakabahan ako.
But then, isang minuto na ang nakalipas di pa din niya sinagot ang tanong ko.
I sighed and stand up.
“It’s okay, I guess I will just stay as your best friend” I said bago nag iwas ng tingin.
There’s a silence between us kaya I focus my attention sa city lights dahil tanaw mula rito sa kinalalagyan namin.
“Of course I want you to stay as my best friend. But I also want you to be my husband” she said kaya naman napaharap ako kaagad sa kanya.
“I want you to be the first person I see when I woke up and the last person I see before I sleep. I want you to be the father of my children. And I want to grow old with you. After all these though years, Damn! 10 years love still you" she said and kissed me on the lips.
