Time Travelers - The beginning

Italy 1855

As soon as the ship settled, we got up. "Now explain." Said carter guarding the door. "Last night before alice collapsed, she said Italy 1855. I think that dude told alice that he was going to Italy in 1855 but then sprayed her so she would forget." Said peter. "Alice, your staying her, no ifs and or buts. You will follow my orders or you will be off this team. " said Carter . "Ok, I'll stay here." I said sitting on a chair. "You wont change my mind. ... wait your willing to stay?" Said Carter confused. "Yeah, I dont want to get hurt again." I said. "Pixie, stay with alice." He said before leaving.

I played with pixie for a while waiting on the guys to get back, 5 hours passed. Still no one, "main frame, where are the guys?" I asked." no location." Said the ship. I looked at my key which changed to Italy, 1955. I grabbed my inter come and said "boys were in the wrong time. " no one answered. "Main frame what year are we in?" I asked. "1855, Italy." Said the ship. I realized then that I was in the wrong time. "Ship, take me to 1955 Italy." I yelled.

Flashes of bright light and I was off. The ship shook as it settled. "Boys where are you?"I asked over my intercom. Alice.... leave...... safe..... not..." said Carter cutting out between words. "Carter, Peter. Where are you?" I yelled. "Come on, say something. I cant do this alone, I dont know what to do." I sat on the floor pulled my knees to my chest and cried. Pixie nudged me with her nose and lied beside me. 2 hours passed before I heard the ship door open. I grabbed the nearest thing which was a wrench because I didnt know what opened the door.

"Put the wrench down." Said Carter. I dropped it and hugged him and peter. "Where were you guys?" I asked wiping the tears off my face. "Trying to find the guy." Said peter. "I was in 1855 and somehow you guys went to 1955, leaving me by myself." I yelled storming off. I sat on the floor of the room, a few minutes later carter walked in holding a rose. "We're sorry, we didn't think about you. " he said handing me the rose. "When I called the intercoms all I got was a few words and static. It sounded like you guys were in trouble." I said. He sat beside me and started explaining what he actually said "I said alice we are leaving, keep pixie safe and he wasnt here." "Oh, I may have overreacted." I laughed slightly playing with the rose. "How bout the next time we get a time warning, you come along." He said getting up and offering his hand to help me. I grabbed his hand and said "yeah, itll lessen the confusion." "Oh come on, why is you get the girls?" Said peter as we walked into the main room. "Maybe cause your 12 and most of the girls we meet aren't."Carter laughed.

The computer went off with a alarm. "2001, Michigan. Great, thank you stupid people." Said carter rolling his eyes and walking into a closet and grabbing coats. I took one and put it on. "Wait, shes coming?" Asked Peter. "Yes I'm coming. Have a problem with it?" I asked. "Nope, but how are you going to help?" He asked. "Shes the distraction." Said carter smiling at me. "Disrtaction, what is peter not pretty enough?" I laughed. "Come on you guys, pay attention to the mission." Said Carter opening the door.

I walked up to the guy and pretended to faint. "Miss are you ok?" He asked. " yeah, I'm fine but your not." I said smiling and getting up off the ground. Carter and peter held the guy down and put handcuffs on him. Suddenly, someone was yelling "finally we found you and your friends. No getting away now." Carter looked at me and peter. "Fine, but you have to catch us first." He said laughing and grabbing my hand and running along with peter.

We got back to the ship and left 2001. "Who were they?" I asked. "Time judges, they want to get rid of time travel all together. Meaning no more time traveling." Said carter playing with pixie. "Will I ever see my family again?" I asked. "We can take you home if you want. Fully your decision. You can see your family every now and again if you chose to stay on the team. But again fully your choice to stay or leave completely." He said rambling. "What she might leave us?" Said Peter. "I... i... uhh.... I'm going to go take a nap." I said walking away.

I felt like if I stayed that I wouldn't see my family again but if I left the team I wouldnt see Carter or peter again. I kept thinking till I fell asleep, I dreamed of a raging fire and a war. I saw Carter and Peter but I also saw myself lying on the ground. Carter was holding my hand and crying. "Come on you cant do this to me. Come on alice." He screamed. "Carter, shes gone." Said peter. "Its your fault. Its all your fault, I lost her because of you." Yelled Carter at the people we saw earlier. "Shes dead because she refused to tell us where you were." Yelled on the the time judges.

I woke up crying and Carter came running into my room followed by peter and pixie. "What's wrong?" Asked Carter hugging me. "I had a dream that I died , you were crying and yelling at the time judges and saying that it was their fault I died. the responded and said I died because I refused to tell them where you were." I said petting pixie to calm me down. "Alice, we are right here and your not dead." Said peter hugging me. "Pixie stay with alice. I promise it was just a bad dream and why exactly was I crying in your dream?" Asked Carter. "You were crying and yelling I lost her, so I think it was because you care about someone besides yourself and pixie." I said smiling slightly. "Get some rest and peter go get some sleep yourself." Said Carter. "Night carter." I said as he left. "Good night alice." He said walking out.

The next morning I woke up to a note left on the desk, "Stopped to get food, be back in 5 minutes. Dont over react this time. Carter." "Come on pixie let's see if they brought us something. " I laughed picking up pixie and walking into the main room. No one was there so I decided to play dress up with pix. I grabbed a scarf and put it on pix and I grabbed a dress that looked really pretty and a jacket. "How do I look pixie?" I asked petting her head. "Arf arf arf." She barked. "We're back, people." Yelled peter. "With donuts and coffee, alice wake up." Yelled Carter. "Right here." I said walking towards them. "Wow, you look amazing." Said peter handing me coffee. "...... um ..... your.... uh"muttered Carter. "He means you look gorgeous and he is at a loss for words just looking at you. " said peter. "Well thank you Carter and you too peter. "I laughed grabbing the box of donuts and walking to a table. "Is that my jacket, where did you find that?" Asked Carter after eating a donut. "In a box labeled dont open."I said. "It said dont open and you opened it?" Asked peter. "Yes, a box that says dont open needs to be opened and it was cold in here." I laughed. "Wasnt that the box you yelled at me for opening?" Peter asked Carter. "Yeah." Carter said downing another coffee. "But your fine with her opening it? Why was there a dress in that box?"peter asked. "I dont know. But you can have the box if you want alice."said Carter handing me the box. "Yay." I laughed grabbing the box and hugging him.

The computer started going off. "Misson alert" said Peter dancing around. "Present day ,new orleans."  Said Carter. "Yay cajun food." I said running back to my room to get dressed in some Jean's and tshirt. "Alice, you coming or staying."yelled Carter. "On my way, hold on. I cant find a jacket." I said walking into the main room. "Here, try this on."said Carter putting a Jean jacket over my shoulders. "I love it." I laughed. "Come one lovebirds, your gonna make me sick before we get lunch." Said peter walking out the door. I grabbed carters arm and walked outside. "Are we looking for the same guy?"I asked. "Yeah, just keep an eye out for the time judges."said Carter. "Can we find some cajun food please?" Asked peter. "Left next to the food vendor ." I whispered to the guys. "Oh no, we cant let them see us. What can we do?" Asked Carter. "They coming toward us." I said frantically. "I'm sorry alice but you have to go distract them since they dont know you. So we can go hide "said Carter shoving me toward them while they ran. I fell into one of them. "I'm so sorry." I said. "Its ok, what's your name?" Asked one of the time judges. "Alice, what's yours?" I asked. "I'm luke, that's Ben and Newt." Said the guy shaking my hand. "Nice to meet yall." I said shaking ben and newts hands. "Wanna join us for lunch?" Asked newt. "I'd love too." I said smiling.
