Part 12🦋

Rachelle POV
I felt a somewhat abrupt stop wake me up from my car ride slumber. I opened my eyes adjusting to the light. I looked to my left only to see Lakes shoulder right by me. I guess I slept on his shoulder the whole time. I fixed my self up and brushed his shoulder making sure I didn't get any drool on his cardigan.
"Don't worry you didn't drool just snored really loudly  we had to turn the music all the way up" Lake said laughing.
"Be quiet I do not snore for shit" I replied nudging him in his side.
After that we both got out the car and got our stuff.Beatrice and lake were already walking ahead of us. The house was on a hill so we had to walk upwards for a hot minute to get there.
After a few minutes we all arrived me and Beatrice huffing and puffing. As I gained control of my breathing I looked up.
That was a lotta house.
The white and glass shined brightly in the transitioning autumn to winter sunlight. The array of plants surrounded the outside making it feel like a mini jungle getaway.
But the water fountain ... you cannot forget about the water fountain ....
The translucent slightly tinted blue water crashed down back into the stone basin leaving a even cooler temperature in the surroundings.
I had a feeling he had money but gosh darn.
After standing in awe of his families property he unlocked the house and we all tumbled in.
Due to me holding everyone back we arrived kind of late and it was sunrise when we arrived so we decided to just pick out our rooms and settle in.
As I was walking upstairs to find a room for me and Beatrice I heard my name being called.
It was Beatrice standing awkwardly at the bottom of the stairs.
I walked back down to meet her.
"GURL hurry yo ass up let's go pick a room and settle in I said energetically.
"Rachelle we're with each other all the time and I just thought that-"
"Yes you can go share a room with Kalen, you don't need to be all nervous go get your mansss it's gucci" I said rolling my eyes back teasingly
"Ayyye vibes onlyyy if you try come to our room and the doors locked mind ya business" she said as she ran away cackling trying to find Kalen.
I laughed at that then continued to make my way to find a room.
I opened the door and to my surprise there was a shirtless jimin sitting on the bed.
"Ooo shit my bad"I said closing the door when Lake said
"Wait"
I opened back the door and stepped inside
"Hey Rachelle... I need to talk to you meet me in a abt an hour knock on my door Yh?"
"Hmm okay but shouldn't you be knocking on MY door" I said jokingly
"Just knock on my door hmm ?" Lake said a smile taking over his face
If I wasn't black I swear I'd be blushing.
"Urm Yh ok an hour it is" I walked along the hall to the last door on my right and walked in.
It suited me just perfect.
I set my things up for the weekend and got dressed into my Pyjamas, we weren't going out for the rest of the day and we said we'd order take out so why not get throw them on. Thirty minutes had passed since Lake told me to knock on his door. I had some time to kill so I whipped out my laptop and decided to watch some old Nct Daily videos.
Ding
My phone went off
It's been and hour and 5 minutes and I am yet to hear a knock😗...
That guy sure is persistent about being on time...
I paused my Nct Daily video promising to finish it later.
I stood in front of his door a thin cloud of nervousness on me. If there was one boy that could make me nervous it sure was him. As I was about to know on his door a voice stopped my actions
"Rachelle come on in" Lake said a cheery tone overtaking his usual serious or nervous one.
I walked in closing the door behind me.
"Hey" I said while trying to look around for where he was.
"I'm over here" I walked in the direction of his which was in the same direction as the open door leading  to the roof balcony I stepped through the door too see Lake  sitting on the balcony
"Hey...before you say anything let me just talk,I'm sorry Rachelle every time we have a moment I ruin it with my pushing you away and overthinking. That time I ran out the party it's not cause I didn't like not at all is cause I liked you too much and from experience sometimes loving someone too much can lead to unforgivable and painful consequences. I don't want to end up hurt and heartbroken again. I hardly feel comfortable with myself and I try so hard sometimes to be this tough guy that society will accept but I can't,so on top of these thoughts your just running around in my head 24/7 reminding me of my feelings for you but also the pain I may bring to you or vice versa if things between us don't go to plan. I don't know if I'm ready to take a risk with you... I really don't but I'm so sorry for running out like that at the party and not addressing it earlier."
I looked at him tears brimming at my eyes.
I ran to him falling into his chest. I hope he knew this meant I forgave him. He stood there for a bit for a second I thought about releasing him from my grasp when at that moment I felt arms wrap around me.
I looked up into his intense brown eyes.
A tear rolled down.
"I can't promise anything about how I will be  Rachelle but I promise I will try to not push you away"
I looked at him somewhat sorrowful.
"Don't make promises you can't keep Lake"
I laid my head back his chest and we just stood there for a moment holding each other in an impassioned embrace.
I pulled away after a bit.
"Can we head in it's getting kinda chilly out here" I said turning away from him heading back inside. A firm grip grasped my hand.Lake spun back towards me then planted a heavy kiss fuelled with emotion. Of course
I kissed him back with every ounce of emotion I had. He finally pulled back an ambiguous smile on his face.
"Cmon lets get back in" he said comfortingly
I followed him back to his room. He jumped on his bed immediately as he stepped inside the room.
"Goodnight Lake I'll see ya tomorrow"
"Rachelle you... you don't have to go" Lake whispered just about loud enough for me to hear.
"If I don't have to go I won't" I said climbing  onto his bed comfortably.
He turned on his tv and it went straight to his episode of hwarang. I looked at him joy bouncing from my eyes.
"I never knew you liked drama?"
"Well it has Park Seo-Joon in it how can I say no"He said letting out a chuckle and pushing me slightly jokingly.
