Rachelle POV

Shit. No No No! Not today. I slammed my
alarm clock clumsily as I struggled to get out of bed. This is real classy of me.. I get into the most prestigious arts school in the country through a scholarship that can be taken from me at ANYTIME but of course knowing me I just had to be late on my first day.
I dashed to the bathroom jumping into the shower brushing my teeth at the same time(gotta kill two birds with one stone imma right)
Knock!Knock!Knock!
Not her too!My best friend Beatrice banged the door urging me to hurry up as she was late too, this is not going to make a good impression on the dean but at least my horrible first impression I made was shared between me and my best friend. They don't call us double trouble for nothing.
I got out the bathroom as speedily as I could to allow Beatrice to get ready too.
Luckily I got my outfit out the day before so no need to worry about what to wear
30 minutes later
Me and Beatrice where sprinting down the collage hallway to try save as much time as possible before we were so late it would be even rude to show up.
Messily we tumbled into the schools assembly hall I was star-truck the black and gold interior matched the high class and delicate sensation that filled the school.
Beatrice nudged me to make me snap out of my day dream , this is when I noticed the sea of eyes glaring at me some annoyed some confused and some seemingly shocked(well what can I say I know how to make an entrance) Quickly I grabbed onto her arm and dragged her to the nearest seats I could find.

"Hm I see some of the scholarship students have decided to join us" The dean said obnoxiously creating a low murmur of giggles throughout the audience. I felt my cheeks burn up at the sudden embarrassment I went to share a look with Beatrice but her head was hanging low her braids shielding her from embarrassment.
As the induction went on I was low-key glad I'd arrived late as for the short time I was there since  I arrived it felt like decades had passed me.
I started to zone out when I heard heavy  footsteps behind me. I was wondering or whether  or not  to look back too scared the dean might notice me being distracted and call me out again.
Oh well you only live once .
I turned around cautiously being sure not to grab unwanted attention.

My heart...

My heart stopped for what seemed like forever the beats of it knocked out by the strong sense of danger and comfort as I fell into his mystifying honey brown coloured eyes. He held my gaze for what felt  like forever .
Next thing I knew the dean had finished his speech I looked around unaware of how the time just went.
When I turned back round to see him again Beatrice was already pulling my arm to the line to get our class time tables. We stood in the line talking about this chatting about that when a familiar figure disappeared through the double assembly hall doors dropping a a delicate gold chained locket on his way out. Without a thought I caught myself already by the doors with the item in my hand looking around lazily for its owner.
I thought  this must have been some kind of fate or something some kind of sign for me to see the locket .
I returned to the line with knowledge I will be seeing my mysterious stranger again

I know this was a lil iddie biddie bit short but yh keep reading....
